Job summary

Bosontech IT Services Private Limited is seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant with hands-on SAP Finance and Controlling expertise to support implementation and post-go-live activities. You will work with the implementation team to map requirements and configure FICO functionalities.

The role requires collaboration with functional and technical teams, and ongoing support for month-end close and data migration efforts during go-live and stabilization.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in SAP Finance and Controlling (FICO).
• Strong knowledge of SAP FI/CO modules and configurations.
• Ability to translate business requirements into SAP FICO solutions.

Responsibilities

• Participate in end-to-end SAP FICO implementation projects including blueprinting and configuration.
• Collaborate with implementation, functional, technical teams and stakeholders.
• Configure SAP FICO functionalities across GL, AP, AR, and AA.
• Handle integration with MM, SD, and other SAP modules.
• Assist data migration, master data prep, and validation during implementation.
• Prepare functional specs and coordinate with ABAP for reports and interfaces.
• Conduct unit, integration, and UAT testing.
• Support cutover activities and go-live preparations.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Troubleshoot functional issues and provide resolutions.

Job description

Experienced SAP FICO Consultant with hands-on experience in SAP Finance and Controlling (FICO), particularly in implementation and support projects. The candidate should have strong functional knowledge of SAP FI and CO modules, configuration, business process mapping, and integration with other SAP modules.

The candidate will be responsible for working with the implementation team, understanding business requirements, configuring SAP FICO functionalities, and ensuring successful implementation and post-go-live support.

• Participate in end-to-end SAP FICO implementation projects, including requirement gathering, blueprinting, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
• Work closely with the implementation team, functional consultants, technical teams, and business stakeholders.
• Understand business requirements and translate them into SAP FICO functional solutions.
• Configure SAP FI modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Asset Accounting (AA).
• Handle integration of SAP FICO with MM, SD, and other relevant SAP modules.
• Support data migration, master data preparation, and validation during implementation.
• Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with ABAP developers for custom reports, enhancements, and interfaces.
• Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Support cutover activities, go-live preparation, and post-implementation stabilization.
• Troubleshoot functional issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Assist in month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
