Job summary

Expound Technivo in Mumbai seeks an experienced FICO Consultant to drive SAP FI/CO implementations and upgrades in multinational environments. You will work on S/4 HANA projects, inter‑facing with business teams, handling costing and profitability analyses, and ensuring successful UAT and SIT with strong communication across locations.

This role requires collaboration across finance and IT, supporting migrations, upgrades, and optimizations of SAP processes to deliver tangible business value.

Qualifications

• CA / MBA – Finance / Cost Accounting
• Experience with two end-to-end FICO implementations
• Experience with S/4 HANA
• Experience on multi-location projects and multiple reporting hierarchies
• Experience in scoping, requirements gathering, solution design, testing
• Proven ability to interact with cross-functional teams
• Hands-on experience with interfaces and RTR customizations
• Documentation of SIT and ownership of UAT

• Possess broad functional knowledge in FI/CO with work in banking, P2P/SOTC integration, interface, internal orders and product costing
• As a Functional Consultant, resolve SAP issues reported by business users and deliver changes

As an SAP consultant, you'll support customers in effectively using SAP software, integrating multiple third‑party tools with their existing technology, performing activities such as migration and upgrade, adopting it widely across their organization, and continuously gaining business value from our products and services. By engaging your customers in a consultative manner grounded in success metrics, meaningful relationships, and change‑management concepts, you'll position yourself as a long‑term trusted partner across the customer’s lifecycle: onboarding, adoption, advocacy, and support. Equipped with the knowledge of what it takes for customers to digitally transform, you will serve as the voice of your customers cross‑functionally, providing feedback to the team and developing unique solutions to their problems that are simple yet effective and innovative. You will represent an empathetic, customer‑centric perspective to the entire team.

Your Role and Responsibilities

• Possess broad functional knowledge in your domain and good technical knowledge in the FI and CO modules. Have work experience in banking, P2P/SOTC integration, interface, internal order, WBS, Idocs, and in‑depth knowledge in product costing.
• As a Functional Consultant, resolve SAP issues reported by business users and deliver all required change and enhancements.
• Finish tasks assigned by the team lead and project coordinator.
• Interact with business users for requirement gathering and provide timely updates on progress.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• CA / MBA – Finance / Cost Accounting.
• Work on at least two end‑to‑end implementations of FICO processes in SAP implementation projects.
• Experience with S/4 HANA.
• Experience working on multi‑location projects and multiple reporting hierarchies.
• Experience in scoping, requirements gathering/definition, solution design, testing, etc.
• Proven record of interacting with functional teams at different levels.
• Ability to understand our business, work across business units, be a team player, and enjoy a team‑oriented environment.
• Hands‑on experience handling interfaces, RTR customizations, etc.
• Completion and documentation of SIT.
• Responsibility for successful completion of UAT.
• Excellent oral & written communication.
• S/4 HANA certification will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge in AO & Fiori reporting tool will be an added advantage.
• Work experience of SAP Controlling (Account Based Profitability Analysis, cost‑center accounting, profit‑center accounting, internal orders, product costing (MTO, MTS, actual costing)) will be an added advantage.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience in support/implementation/roll‑out type projects.
• Experience in S/4 HANA projects.
• Strong knowledge of Indian taxation.
• Qualified Chartered Accountant.
• SAP FI certification is preferred.
