Job summary

WillWare Technologies is seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant with deep functional knowledge of SAP FI and CO. The candidate should have hands-on experience in SAP configuration, implementation, integration, testing, and production support in a dynamic environment.

The role involves configuring and supporting FI/CO modules, handling end-to-end Record-to-Report processes, and ensuring successful month-end and year-end closings, with collaboration across MM, SD and other modules where needed.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of hands-on SAP FICO experience with FI/CO modules.
• Strong functional knowledge of SAP Financial Accounting and Controlling.
• Experience in configuration, implementation, integration, testing and production support.
• Excellent analytical and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Configure and support SAP FI and CO modules based on business needs.
• Work on end-to-end Record-to-Report and financial accounting processes.
• Gather requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
• Handle GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, and Tax.
• Support CO-PA, Cost Center/Profit Center, and internal orders.
• Coordinate with ABAP teams for functional specs and unit testing.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, UAT, and defect resolution.
• Support data migration, cutover, go-live and post-production activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and support SAP FI and CO modules based on business requirements.
• Work on end-to-end Record-to-Report (R2R) and financial accounting processes.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
• Configure and support:
  • General Ledger (GL)
  • Accounts Payable (AP)
  • Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Asset Accounting (AA)
  • Bank Accounting
  • Tax
  • Accounts Closing
  • Controlling (CO)
• Work on Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, and Profitability Analysis (CO-PA).
• Configure organizational structures including Company Code, Chart of Accounts, Fiscal Year, Posting Periods, and Document Types.
• Handle automatic account determination, payment processes, clearing, reconciliation, and financial postings.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Work on SAP FI integration with MM, SD, PP, and other modules.
• Analyze and resolve production issues and provide root-cause analysis.
• Prepare functional specifications for custom developments and coordinate with ABAP teams.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, UAT, regression testing, and defect resolution.
• Support data migration, cutover, go-live, and post-production activities.
• Prepare functional documentation and configuration documents.
• Interact with business users and stakeholders to understand requirements and provide solutions.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP FICO.
• Strong knowledge of SAP FI and CO configuration.
• Experience in GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, and Bank Accounting.
• Good understanding of Cost Center, Profit Center, Internal Orders, and CO-PA.
• Strong knowledge of R2R processes.
• Experience with SAP FI integration with MM and SD.
• Experience in SAP implementation and/or production support.
• Good understanding of financial accounting and controlling business processes.
