Job summary

CIEL HR in Surat, Gujarat seeks an experienced SAP FICO professional to lead implementation, support, and maintenance across FI/CO modules. You will work on GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, and Controlling, ensuring robust month-end and year-end closures and accurate financial reporting.

You will coordinate with technical teams, define functional specs, conduct testing and UAT, and provide end-user support. Strong communication is essential for cross-module integration with MM/SD and process

Qualifications

• 4+ years hands-on SAP FICO implementation, support and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of SAP FI and CO modules and integration with other SAP modules.
• Experience in GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting and Bank Accounting.
• Understanding of Controlling including COSC/Profit Center and Internal Orders.
• Experience in month-end and year-end closing activities and financial reporting.
• Exposure to production support, issue analysis, troubleshooting and resolution.
• Familiarity with FI/CO-MM/SD integration and cross-module flows.
• Ability to capture business requirements, write functional specs and coordinate with technical teams.
• Experience in testing, UAT, documentation and end-user support.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide SAP FICO functional support and troubleshooting for production runs.
• Analyze issues, perform root-cause analysis and coordinate resolutions with technical teams.
• Assist in month-end/year-end closings and financial reporting processes.
• Prepare and review functional specifications for new requirements.
• Coordinate testing and UAT activities with business users.
• Support end-user training and documentation.

• Experience in General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA) and Bank Accounting.
• Good understanding of Controlling (CO) including Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting and Internal Orders.
• Experience in month-end and year-end closing activities, financial reporting and reconciliation.
• Should have experience in handling production support, issue analysis, troubleshooting and resolution.
• Good understanding of integration between FI/CO and MM, SD modules.
• Should be able to understand business requirements, prepare functional specifications and coordinate with technical teams.
• Experience in testing, UAT support, documentation and user support.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
