Job summary

Nagarro, a premier software services organization, is seeking a Sr. SAP FICA Consultant for our Mumbai/Bangalore projects.

You will lead ECC to S/4HANA migration, manage BP conversions, and ensure accurate FI-GL reconciliations while collaborating with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate brings 9–11+ years of IT experience and at least 5–7 years in SAP FICA, with strong data migration skills (LTMC/LSMW/BAPIs) and experience with Brownfield/Greenfield transitions.

Qualifications

• 9–11+ years of overall IT/SAP experience with 5–7 years in SAP FICA.
• Hands-on SAP FICA with BP, Contract Account and Contract Partner mastery.
• Experience ECC to S/4HANA migration projects.
• Exposure to Brownfield/Greenfield or data transition projects.
• Strong knowledge of FI-GL integration and revenue reconciliation.
• Experience with LTMC/LSMW/BAPIs for data migration.
• Experience in testing and cutover activities; Agile/Waterfall.
• Excellent analytical and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Understand business requirements and translate into SAP FICA solutions.
• Lead ECC to S/4HANA migration activities for the FICA functional stream.
• Performing impact analysis on existing FICA configurations, customizations and standard processes during S/4HANA migration/upgrades.
• Managing BP conversion, data cleansing, Contract Account adjustments and migration of FICA open items/history.
• Designing, configuring and maintaining core FICA functionalities.
• Configuring and optimizing FI-GL integration, revenue posting and reconciliation processes.
• Designing and executing mass processing activities such as Payment Runs, Dunning Runs and Mass Changes.
• Working closely with ABAP and technical teams to define Functional Specifications, enhancements, interfaces, reports and workflows.
• Interacting with business stakeholders to understand requirements, define scope, perform fit-gap analysis and present solution designs.
• Preparing test strategies, test scenarios and supporting Unit, Integration and UAT testing.
• Supporting cutover planning, production deployment and post-go-live Hypercare.
• Identifying risks, dependencies and potential issues and providing appropriate solutions.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams including SAP SD, FI-CO and BRIM teams.
• Reviewing functional deliverables and ensuring quality and adherence to project standards.
• Providing functional guidance and mentoring to junior team members.
• Supporting continuous improvement and establishing best practices for SAP FICA operations.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP FICA (Financial Contract Accounting).
• Overall 911+ years of SAP/IT experience with 57 years of dedicated SAP FICA experience.
• Strong experience in SAP ECC to S/4HANA migration/conversion projects.
• Experience in Brownfield, Greenfield, or Selective Data Transition projects.
• Strong expertise in FICA Master Data including Business Partner (BP), Contract Partner and Contract Account.
• Hands-on experience in Posting & Documents, Payments, Payment Lots, Direct Debit, Dunning, Interest Calculation, Security Deposits, Returns Processing and Write-offs.
• Strong understanding of FI-GL integration, revenue posting and reconciliation processes.
• Experience in mass processing activities including Payment Run, Dunning Run and Mass Changes.
• Experience integrating SAP FICA with SAP SD, FI-CO and SAP BRIM (SOM/CC/CI).
• Experience with Business Partner conversion, data cleansing, Contract Account adjustments and migration of open items/history to S/4HANA.
• Strong understanding of FICA data migration using LTMC / Migrate Your Data, LSMW and BAPIs.
• Experience in preparing Functional Specifications / WRICEF requirements in collaboration with ABAP teams.
• Good understanding of SAP S/4HANA FICA features, CDS views and General Ledger integration.
• Experience in requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis and solution design.
• Strong experience in Unit Testing, Integration Testing, UAT, Cutover and Hypercare activities.
• Experience working with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

• Industry experience in Utilities, Telecom, Insurance, Public Sector or Subscription Business Models.
• Experience in at least one complete end-to-end ECC to S/4HANA migration/conversion project.
