Position Summary

We are looking for an SAP Emarsys Consultant with 5+ years of hands‑on experience in a Marketing Automation tool.

The candidate will support the design, execution, and optimisation of multi‑channel marketing campaigns, working closely with marketing and CRM teams to deliver effective customer journeys and personalised communications.

Responsibilities

• Should possess hands‑on experience in the SAP Emarsys E2E Marketing Automation tool
• Execute and manage multi‑channel campaigns (email, SMS, push, web personalisation, direct mail) using SAP Emarsys.
• Create reusable segments, contact lists and automation workflows to improve engagement and retention.
• Perform audience segmentation and targeting using customer data (Predictive AI models in Emarsys).
• Set up and monitor A/B tests and personalization strategies.
• Generate campaign performance reports and share insights with stakeholders.
• Ensure campaign execution complies with GDPR, CCPA, and global data privacy regulations.
• Support process improvements and contribute to campaign execution best practices.
• Act as an internal subject‑matter expert for Emarsys, guiding best practices and training junior team members.
• Collaborate with client to align campaigns with business objectives.

Qualifications

Education and Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT, or related field with Marketing knowledge.
• Certification in SAP Emarsys is a plus.

Requirements

• E2E knowledge in SAP Emarsys Marketing Automation tool.
• Must have delivered at least 2 projects of SAP Emarsys.
• Proven hands‑on experience in SAP Emarsys Campaign (User setup, automation programs, segmentation, personalization, reporting, VCE, transactional campaigns, API etc.).
• Understand Architecture of SAP Emarsys.
• Intermediate knowledge of SQL for audience targeting.
• Familiarity with HTML/CSS for email templates customization.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross‑functional teams.
• Good understanding of customer lifecycle marketing and campaign optimisation techniques.
• Marketing Platform Migration Experience. (Good to have)
• Ability to mentor and train team members.

Technical / Professional Skills

• Should have excellent communication skills.
• Strong analytical capabilities, ability to interpret requirements, and provide business recommendations to mitigate business and operational risks.
• Good German or English skills complete your profile.
