Thompsons HR Consulting Pvt Ltd in Pune seeks an SAP EHS Expert with strong SAP QM/PP experience for a one-year contract. You will own SAP QM functionality, support incidents, and drive cross-functional integrations with Production, Purchasing, Inventory, and Logistics.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on SAP QM/PP, LabWare and MES/LIMS exposure, plus ABAP scripting and BI tool familiarity, to work with global stakeholders. English communication essential.

• Strong hands-on SAP QM functionality including Inspection, CoA, Batch Management, and Batch Search Strategy.
• Extensive knowledge of manufacturing and quality processes and their translation into SAP end-to-end workflows.
• Cross-functional integration across Production, Purchasing, Inventory, and Logistics with QM touchpoints.
• Troubleshooting and incident management for SAP QM; capable of coordinating with external support providers.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the primary SAP QM support and functional expert for the business.
• Handle incidents, problems, and change requests in SAP QM with timely resolution.
• Coordinate ticket handling with external partners and ensure service quality.
• Validate and specify developments, especially for SAP QM and LabWare enhancements.
• Support interfaces with SAP, MES/MII, LIMS, and related reporting platforms.

Strong hands-on SAP QM and PP experience in a support and/or implementation environment.

• Deep SAP QM functional expertise, including Inspection, Certificate of Analysis (CoA), Batch Management, and Batch Search Strategy.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing and quality processes and how they translate into SAP (end-to-end business process knowledge).
• Cross-functional integration knowledge across Production, Purchasing, Inventory, and Logistics (QM touchpoints with other modules/processes).
• Troubleshooting and support capability: maintaining and enhancing SAP QM applications and resolving incidents effectively.
• IT service management / support operations knowledge, including ticketing, prioritization, and change management; ability to supervise/coordinate ticket handling with external support providers.
• Integration exposure with SAP PP and connected systems such as LIMS/MES (e.g., LabWare, SAP MII/MES) and reporting tools (e.g., Qlik Sense, PowerBI).
• Ability to support and validate interfaces with related systems (SAP, MES/MII, LIMS, reporting platforms).
• Development collaboration skills: familiarity with ABAP, scripting, and writing functional specification documents.
• Strong communication skills in English and ability to work with global stakeholders.
• Able to work autonomously, strong team player, and able to promote and enforce corporate standards, policies, and procedures.
• Capability to specify and validate developments, particularly for SAP and LabWare enhancements.
