Job summary

NTT DATA in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India seeks a SAP Digital Manufacturing Cloud (DMC) specialist to implement, configure and support SAP DMC solutions for manufacturing clients. You will work with SAP BTP, UI5, and integrations to streamline shop floor processes.

The role requires strong design, blueprinting and client-facing skills, with hands-on configuration and testing, plus documentation and training delivery for end-users. Shift timing aligns with USA customers.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing and supporting SAP DMC/BTP solutions for at least one full SAP DM project.
• Strong knowledge of shop floor execution, production concepts and integration points.
• Familiarity with SAP UI5, cloud integrations, and API management.
• Excellent client-facing communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and blueprint SAP DMC solutions to align with client processes.
• Configure, implement, and support SAP DMC, including shop floor execution and UI customization.
• Integrate SAP DMC with other SAP modules and third-party systems using SAP Cloud Connector.
• Coordinate end-to-end testing, UAT, deployment and go-live activities.
• Create training materials and maintain functional and technical documentation.
• Analyze issues and provide ongoing client support for SAP DMC.
• Engage in demonstrations and solution presentations as part of pre-sales activities.

We are currently seeking a SAP Digital Manufacturing Cloud (DMC) to join our team in Chennai, Tamil Nādu (IN-TN), India (IN).

SAP Digital Manufacturing Cloud (DMC)

SAP Digital Manufacturing Cloud (DMC) involvesimplementing, configuring, and supporting SAP DMC solutions, which includessolution blueprinting ,shop floor execution and integration with other SAP and non-SAP systems. Key responsibilities include gathering requirements, designing and testing solutions, creating documentation, and providing training and support to clients and end-users. Technical skills inSAP BTP andSAP UI5 are often required, along with experience in areas like cloud integration,production process , andshop floor automation .

Key Responsibilities:

• Solution Design & Blueprinting:Conduct requirements gathering sessions and lead blueprinting activities to align SAP DMC solutions with client business processes.
• Configuration & Implementation:Configure, implement, and support SAP DMC solutions, including shop floor execution,POD/UI customization , and integration with various systems.
• Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP DMC with other SAP modules and third-party systems using tools like SAP Cloud Connector.
• Testing & Deployment:Coordinate end-to-end system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and support deployment and go-live activities.
• Training & Documentation:Create and deliver client training materials and sessions, as well as maintaining functional and technical documentation.
• Client & System Support:Analyze and troubleshoot issues in SAP DMC, ensuring smooth operation and providing ongoing support to clients.
• Pre-Sales Activities:Engage in demonstrations and solution presentations as part of pre-sales activities.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience: Proven experience in implementing and supporting SAP Digital Manufacturing/BTP solutions, often including at least one full SAP DM implementation.
• Technical Skills:
• Knowledge ofShop Order , SFC, and production execution concepts.
• Familiarity with SAP UI5, SAP BAS, cloud integrations, and API management.
• Understanding of shop floor automation, integration with production connectors, and scanner integration.
• Knowledge of inventory processes like Goods Issue/Receipt (GI/GR).
• Methodology & Project Management:Experience withAgile methodologies and coordination of project implementation.
• Soft Skills:Strong client-facing skills, excellent oral and written communication, and the ability to build trust-based client relationships.
