ERP Senior Specialist – SAP Digital Manufacturing Cloud (DMC) – Chennai, Tamil Nadu (India).
About the role
Responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP DMC solutions including blueprinting, shop floor execution, integration with other SAP and non‑SAP systems, testing, deployment, training, and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Solution Design & Blueprinting: Conduct requirements gathering sessions and lead blueprinting activities to align SAP DMC solutions with client business processes.
- Configuration & Implementation: Configure, implement, and support SAP DMC solutions, including shop floor execution, POD/UI customization, and integration with various systems.
- Integration: Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate SAP DMC with other SAP modules and third‑party systems using tools like SAP Cloud Connector.
- Testing & Deployment: Coordinate end‑to‑end system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and support deployment & go‑live activities.
- Training & Documentation: Create and deliver client training materials and sessions, and maintain functional and technical documentation.
- Client & System Support: Analyze and troubleshoot issues in SAP DMC, ensuring smooth operation and providing ongoing support to clients.
- Pre‑Sales Activities: Engage in demonstrations and solution presentations as part of pre‑sales activities.
Key Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience implementing and supporting SAP Digital Manufacturing/BTP solutions, including at least one full SAP DM implementation.
- Solid understanding of Shop Order, SFC, and production execution concepts.
- Familiarity with SAP UI5, SAP BAS, cloud integrations, and API management.
- Experience with shop‑floor automation, production connectors, scanner integration, and manufacturing concepts such as Lot & Serial Manufacturing and Assembling & Confirmation.
- Knowledge of inventory processes like Goods Issue/Receipt (GI/GR).
- Experience with Agile methodologies and project implementation coordination.
- Strong client‑facing skills, excellent oral and written communication, and ability to build trust‑based client relationships.
