Bunge in Mohali, India, is seeking an experienced SAP Data Migration Lead / Project Manager to drive end-to-end migration activities across ECC and S/4HANA programs. You will define strategy, plan governance, manage cross-functional teams, ensure data quality, and oversee cutover and go-live support.

The role requires 10–12 years SAP experience with 5+ years in data migration leadership, strong tooling knowledge (BODS, LTMC, IDocs), and global project delivery experience.

SAP Data Migration Lead consultant / Project Manager

Role Summary

Lead and manage end-to-end SAP Data Migration workstreams across SAP ECC and S/4HANA transformation programs. Responsible for driving migration strategy, planning and governance, managing cross-functional teams, ensuring data quality, and driving successful migration execution, cutover, and go-live support. Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, SAP functional teams, technical teams, and program leadership to deliver migration objectives aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SAP Data Migration projects across SAP ECC and S/4HANA implementations, upgrades, and transformation programs.
• Drive the migration strategy, project plans, governance framework, timelines, and delivery milestones.
• Manage data extraction, cleansing, transformation, validation, reconciliation, and loading activities.
• Collaborate with business and SAP functional teams across SD, MM, FI, and PP to define migration requirements and dependencies.
• Drive mock loads, cutover planning, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization activities.
• Manage project risks, issues, resources, stakeholders, and executive reporting.
• Ensure adherence to data quality standards, reporting of data migration metrics, and successful business sign-offs.
• Lead global teams, vendors, and system integrators to ensure successful project delivery.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10-12 years of SAP experience, including 5+ years leading SAP Data Migration projects.
• Strong experience delivering end-to-end SAP Data Migration initiatives for ECC and/or S/4HANA programs.
• Hands-on knowledge of SAP Data Services (BODS) and SAP migration tools including LTMC, BAPIs, IDocs, LSMW, and BDC.
• Strong understanding of data migration lifecycle, data quality, reconciliation, mock conversions, cutover planning, and deployment.
• Good cross-functional SAP knowledge across:
  • Sales & Distribution (SD)
  • Materials Management (MM)
  • Finance (FI)
  • Production Planning (PP) preferred
• Experience with migration of Customer, Vendor, Material, Pricing, Open AR/AP, Financial, and Transactional data.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes including O2C, P2P, and R2R.
• Proven project management, stakeholder management, leadership, and communication skills.
• Experience managing global teams and large-scale ERP transformation programs.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP S/4HANA Migration or SAP Data Services Certification.
• Experience with SAP MDG, Data Governance, and Data Quality frameworks.
• Experience in global SAP transformation and deployment programs.
