Responsibilities
- Demonstrate a high level of professionalism; prioritize the development and implementation of SAP solutions tailored for industrial processes.
- Manage projects independently, adapting plans with in-depth knowledge and recommending best practices; support delivery of solutions to complex challenges.
- Collaborate on large to medium SAP projects, contributing to process improvements and ensuring effective execution of key activities to achieve business results.
- Apply in-depth knowledge of SAP MM (and WM) Solutions; adapt departmental plans and recommend innovative solutions and best practices.
- Perform a variety of complex and non-complex SAP configuration, analysis, and support tasks; analyze problems to understand underlying causes.
- Support the delivery of solutions to complex SAP problems, particularly where precedents may not exist; apply analytical thinking and interpretation.
- Provide guidance to professionals and/or support staff on SAP functionalities and best practices within an industrial context.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of SAP processes and systems to enhance efficiency, functionality, and user experience.
- Proactively pursue opportunities to solve problems and manage work effectively in changing environments.

- Successful delivery and implementation of assigned SAP Industrial Solution projects.
- Effectiveness of SAP solutions in driving process efficiencies and improvements.
- Timely and accurate resolution of complex SAP-related issues and support requests.
- Contribution to the knowledge base and best practices within the SAP Industrial Solutions domain.
Major Opportunities and Decisions
- Analyzing complex and non-routine SAP problems requiring extensive investigation and solution debugging.
- Supporting the development and delivery of solutions for intricate challenges where standard procedures may not exist.
- Making tactical decisions within functional policies and broad procedural guidelines to ensure effective SAP Industrial Solutions operation.
Management/Leadership
- Manages mini-projects and processes within SAP Industrial Solutions independently, following established policies.
- Provides guidance to professional and/or support staff to aid in daily activities and project goals.
Knowledge and Technical Competencies
- In-depth knowledge of SAP MM (WM preferred) modules relevant to industrial processes and their integration.
- Knowledge in Inventory Management & Costing; experience in MM processes including sub-contracting.
- Understanding of MM processes and integration to other modules like FICO and PP.
- Experience in migration of MM objects (e.g., PO, Inventory, PIR).
- Deep understanding of Material Master and field settings.
- Proficiency in SAP configuration, customization, and troubleshooting in an industrial manufacturing or processing environment.
- Prior SAP debugging experience.
- Experience with non-SAP industrial solutions (desirable) – MES, LIMS.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage project deliverables effectively.
Minimum Requirements
Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree with 4-8 years of position-related experience in SAP MM (and WM), or an equivalent combination of education and experience. In-depth knowledge in the candidate’s discipline with basic knowledge of related disciplines.
