Job summary

NTT DATA BUSINESS SOLUTIONS seeks a SAP Client Delivery Manager to join our Bangalore-based team. You will lead cloud transformation, drive SAP S/4HANA adoption, and coordinate across SAP services, product support, ECS partners, and client systems integrators to ensure successful delivery.

This senior role requires strong SAP tech stack knowledge, global client delivery experience, and excellent English communication. Occasional travel and up to 20% onsite work are expected.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in project management or SAP operations.
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Knowledge of SAP cloud business, cloud and hybrid infra, and SAP operations.
• Experience in IT service providers and outsourcing engagements.
• SAP ECC/S/4HANA, NetWeaver, SAP Basis are critical.

Responsibilities

• Drive cloud transformation with key client stakeholders to adopt S/4HANA and standardize cloud use.
• Lead customer engagement across SAP Services, product support, ECS partners and SI/Hosting partners.
• Handle engagement administration: staffing, reporting, and controls.
• Ensure proactive service plans delivery and reactive support handling.
• Host governance meetings with customers and SAP stakeholders.
• Oversee SAP Cloud Solutions transformation and onboarding.
• Maintain end-to-end engagement including commercial aspects and invoicing.
• Secure reference opportunities and customer satisfaction responses.
• De-escalate critical customer situations and drive value delivery.
• Protect and grow engagement scope and manage change requests.
• Share knowledge and coach team members.
• Expected to spend up to 20% onsite at client location.

Job Summary

We are currently seeking a SAP Client Delivery Manager to join our team in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.

Responsibilities

• Actively drives the cloud transformation agenda with key client stakeholders to ensure adoption of S/4HANA and cloud standardization
• Lead the customer engagement and ensures seamless alignment across multiple internal and external stakeholders such as SAP Services, SAP Product support, ECS Partners and customers System Integrators or other Hosting Partners
• Perform administrative tasks required to manage the engagement (staffing, reporting controlling).
• Manage proactive delivery of service plans and reactive support requests
• Host regular status and governance meetings with customers and other SAP stakeholders (extended account team)
• Drive transformation and onboarding towards SAP Cloud Solutions
• Drives end-to-end customer engagement including commercial responsibility (costs and profitability), customer expectations, delivery team success, customer reporting and invoicing
• Achieve customer reference collateral and customer satisfaction responses
• Deliver best through proactive mindset and de-escalate critical customer situations
• Protect and grow engagement scope and manage commercial change requests
• Participate in team-internal knowledge sharing and coach other team members
• Expected to spend up to 20% of time onsite at client location

Education and Qualifications / Skills and Competencies

Bachelors degree required; advanced degree preferred in Business Administration, Computer Science, Technical Engineering, Economics or related field

• Must have Knowledge of SAPs cloud business, cloud and hybrid infrastructure and cloud operation processes
• Experienced in IT service providers and managing outsourcing engagements.
• SAP Basis, technology, and/or functional knowledge are very important.
• Technical infrastructure know-how and technical understanding of virtualized system landscapes is critical for this role.

• Strong SAP technology stack expertise including SAP ECC, S/4HANA, NetWeaver, and SAP Basis administration.
• Experience with SAP HANA and enterprise databases (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2).
• Knowledge of Linux, Unix, and Windows operating systems supporting SAP environments.
• Experience with hyperscaler platforms such as Microsoft Azure and/or AWS.
• Understanding of cloud and hybrid SAP landscapes, virtualization, and infrastructure architecture.
• Experience with SAP ECS, RISE with SAP, and cloud transformation programs.
• Knowledge of SAP Solution Manager and/or SAP Cloud ALM.
• Experience leading SAP upgrades, migrations, and technical transformation initiatives.

• Strong project management skills customer-facing experience
• Strong ability to translate between technical and non-technical audience with confidence
• Strong engagement management, relationship building and de-escalation skills
• Excellent presentation, communication and moderator skills
• High competency in multi-tasking and ability to manage multiple engagements in parallel
• Accustomed to working in an international and global virtual matrix organization
• High proficiency in English. Additional languages are a big plus

• Knowledge and certifications in standards and methodologies for SAP IT operations (e.g. SAP CCoE, ITIL V4 Foundation or Expert Level, Run SAP standards, Solution Manager ALM) are beneficial.
• Certification in project management methodology (e.g. PMP) is beneficial

Work Experience

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in project management or SAP Operations
• Minimum 4+ years of experience in a customer-facing role
• Minimum 4 to 6 years of experience in service management capacity managing multiple clients.
