Akunth Technologies is seeking a Finance Application Expert specialized in SAP by Design with a primary focus on finance modules. You will act as a key liaison between the support team and our finance stakeholders, solving issues and delivering business-oriented solutions that may include configurations and process improvements.

Ideal candidates hold a degree in Finance or IT, have SAP by Design experience, and familiarity with General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Financial

• Degree in Finance, Information Technology or a related field.
• Experience with SAP by Design.
• Experience in a support team environment.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion is a significant advantage.
• Project management/participation experience

Responsabilités

• Provide expert-level SAP by Design support for finance modules, troubleshooting and resolving issues in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with finance stakeholders to understand challenges and provide clear, actionable solutions.
• Analyze existing finance processes and identify opportunities for improvement, including both system and process changes.
• Design and propose system-based and process-based solutions to enhance finance operations.
• Share knowledge of application and best practices in finance within the team.
• Liaise with application vendors for issue escalation and stay updated on new features.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Application Expert to join our dedicated support team. The successful candidate will be a specialist in SAP by Design, with a primary focus on the finance modules. This role is ideal for a professional who is not only proficient in application support but also possesses a deep understanding of practical finance processes. You will act as a key liaison between the support team and our finance stakeholders, solving support issues and ensuring that we provide effective, business-oriented solutions that may encompass both system configurations and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

Area Description

Application

Support Provide expert-level support for SAP by Design, troubleshooting and resolving issues related to the finance modules in a timely manner.

Stakeholder

Collaboration Engage with finance stakeholders to understand their challenges, discuss complex application and process issues, and provide clear and actionable solutions.

Process Analysis Analyze existing finance processes and identify opportunities for improvement, recognizing when a process adjustment is a more effective solution than a system change.

Solution Design Design and propose both system-based and process-based solutions to address identified issues and enhance the efficiency of our finance operations.

Knowledge Sharing Act as a subject matter expert within the team, sharing knowledge of both the application and best practices in finance.

Vendor

Management Liaise with application vendors for issue escalation and to stay updated on new features and functionalities.

Qualifications and Skills

Required Technical Skills:

• Proven experience as an application expert or superuser for SAP by Design, with a strong focus on the finance modules.
• In-depth knowledge of core finance processes such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Financial Reporting.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with finance professionals at all levels, with the capacity to translate technical issues into business language and vice versa.

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree in Finance, Information Technology or a related field.
• Experience in SAP by design.
• Previous experience in a support team environment.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion is a significant advantage.
• Project management/participation experience
