Job description: SAP BW4/HANA L3 Support and Enhancement.

A BW/4HANA L3 Support Engineer requires advanced technical support for SAP BW/4HANA systems, resolving complex issues escalated from lower support levels. This role requires deep knowledge of SAP BW/4HANA architecture, data modelling and troubleshooting techniques. Key responsibilities include analysing and resolving critical incidents, performing root cause analysis, and collaborating with development teams for long-term solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshooting and Resolution: Investigate and resolve complex technical issues related to SAP BW/4HANA, often involving performance bottlenecks, data inconsistencies, or system errors.
• Root Cause Analysis: Conduct thorough root cause analysis to identify the underlying causes of issues and implement preventative measures.
• Collaboration: Work closely with L1 and L2 support teams, development teams, and other IT teams to resolve issues and improve system stability.
• System Monitoring: Monitor the health and performance of SAP BW/4HANA systems, proactively identifying and addressing potential problems.
• Knowledge Management: Document solutions, troubleshooting procedures, and best practices to build a knowledge base for future reference.
• Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior support engineers.
• Incident Management: Manage critical incidents (P1 and P2 tickets) and ensure timely resolution.
• System Enhancement: Contribute to the development and implementation of solutions to improve system performance and stability.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Deep knowledge of SAP BW/4HANA: Including data modelling, data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills: Ability to analyse complex issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills: Ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders, including business users and technical teams.
• Experience with SAP BW/4HANA administration: Including system configuration, performance tuning, and security.
• Experience with ABAP development: For data extraction and transformation.
• Knowledge of HANA platforms: (e.g., Native HANA modelling, AMDP) is often preferred.
• Experience with incident management and ticketing systems: 3-5 years of experience is required.
• L1 evaluations will be scheduled if candidate meets the following criteria :
• 1) candidate is based out of Mumbai or willing to relocate to Mumbai
• 2) Candidate is willing to attend F2F discussion for the L2 round at CG office -either Mumbai or Bangalore.
