Job summary

Bauer Corporate Services in Mumbai is looking for an experienced SAP BW/BW4HANA professional to design data models, implement ETL, and build analytics with SAC and SAP Analytics Cloud. The role emphasizes performance-optimized data architecture and collaboration with business users.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in ABAP/AMDP for BW, data integration, and BW/4HANA tooling (BW Workbench, Eclipse, HANA Studio), and will have strong communication skills and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

Functional Requirements:

• Data Modeling and ETL Processes in SAP BW: Extensive experience in modeling InfoObjects, ADSO, and CompositeProvider, as well as implementing ETL processes with Transformations and Data Transfer Processes (DTP) on SAP BW on HANA / BW/4HANA.
• ABAP and AMDP for BW: Strong expertise in ABAP and AMDP programming, particularly for developing custom transformation and loading processes for SAP BW.
• Reporting and Analytics: Proficient in creating reports and dashboards using tools like SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and Analysis for Office, for effective data visualization and business intelligence.
• SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC): Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud for Business Intelligence (BI), Planning, and Predictive Analytics. Skills in creating dashboards, reports, and data stories, as well as integrating SAC with data sources like SAP BW or SAP S/4HANA.
• SAP Datasphere (optional): Knowledge of using SAP Datasphere for data integration, modeling, and management. Experience in orchestrating data pipelines and managing metadata for a scalable data landscape.

Technical Requirements:

• Data Architecture and Performance Optimization: Expertise in developing data models that are both functionally and performance-optimized to ensure fast and reliable data processing.
• Knowledge of SAP BW/4HANA Tools: Proficiency in using tools like the BW Workbench, Eclipse, and HANA Studio for effective management and implementation of SAP BW solutions.
• SAP BW on HANA / BW/4HANA: Deep understanding of the architecture and relevant tools for implementing SAP BW on the HANA database, including performance optimizations and best practices.
• HANA SQL and Database Optimization: Experience using HANA SQL to optimize queries and data models, thereby improving system performance.
• Integration of SAP BW and SAC: Experience integrating SAP BW with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) via the BW connector and using BW Queries in SAC for creating powerful dashboards and reports.
• Planning and Predictive Analytics in SAC: Strong knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud's planning functions and the development and integration of predictive analytics models, particularly in conjunction with SAP BW or SAP Datasphere.
