Job summary

Zensar Technologies in India seeks an experienced SAP BW/HANA consultant with 7-12+ years of expertise in BW on HANA and BW4HANA to lead end-to-end implementations across ECC/SD/MM. You will model data, develop CALC views, open ODS, and integrate with SAP and non-SAP sources.

The role requires strong SQL, ABAP/ CDS extractors, and familiarity with BODS, SDA, SDI. Knowledge of Tableau is a plus and experience in manufacturing context is beneficial.

Job description

Here's how you'll contribute:

7-12+ years' experience in BW on HANA & BW4HANA, BW & BI.

Multiple, full-life cycle Implementations in SAP BW4HANA or BW-on-HANA End to end dev.

ADSOs, Composite Providers, Open ODS views, Transformations, BEX Queries, HANA Calc views.

Desired : Experience in SAP AFO 2.x with HANA, scheduling work books, use variants.

Coding exp.BW relevant + SQL. Extractors (ABAP & CDS based), related enhancements.

Experience in reporting related to FICO, OTC, P2P, Inventory & Demand Planning.

Development of interfaces - inbound/outbound to/from BW to non-SAP Legacy to BW, SAP / non-SAP extraction.

Experience in various Data Provisioning Options BODS, SDA, SDI.

Good in BW4 application & db security concepts.

Experience in S4 embedded analytics.

Nice to have knowledge of Tableau

Knowledge of SAP BPC module will be an advantage

Experience in manufacturing industry - is good to have

Good communication skills are must

Qualifications:

• Strong Native SAP HANA modeler, building graphical and scripted calculation views/Information models for SAP ECC data
• Strong in SQL, SQL scripting, procedures, and debugging SQL.
• Prior HANA projects across various SAP ECC Logistics modules (SD, MM, PM, EHS Management, Reliability), Supply Chain Management.
• In-depth expertise in SAP HANA Live
• Prior experience with quantity and currency conversions for value and amount measures in the HANA models.
• HANA Studio, BOBJ/BI Platform 4.2: WEBI, Dashboard Designer, OLAP for Analysis, SAP Lumira, Design Studio.
• Familiarity with methods to sourcing data (HANA SDA and SDI) from SAP and non-SAP systems into HANA.
• Familiarity with Native HANA transports, XS engine, web applications.
• Familiar with IT Project Management concepts, software development methodologies and best practices.
• Background or extensive expertise in SAP BW: 3.x, 7.0, 7.3, 7.4 and 7.5 (on HANA), BW-Integrated Planning (IP) (a plus).
• Expert architect and broad experience in modeling the data in LSA (w/o HANA) and LSA++ (with HANA) layers.
• Familiarity with SAP tables.
