Job summary

Lee & Nee Software Solutions (Exports) Ltd. is seeking an experienced SAP Business One (B1) Functional Consultant to join our ERP implementation team. You will map business processes to SAP B1, configure modules, and support go-live and post‑go‑live activities.

The ideal candidate has hands-on SAP B1 implementation and support experience, strong ERP process knowledge, and excellent client communication and problem‑solving skills, with willingness to travel to client sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
• 35+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Business One Functional Consulting.
• Experience in at least 3–4 major SAP B1 modules (Finance, Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Production/MRP).
• Experience in requirements gathering, configuration, testing, UAT, data migration and go-live.
• Knowledge of Crystal Reports / SAP B1 reporting tools and data migration.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end SAP Business One implementation projects from requirement gathering to go-live and post-implementation support.
• Conduct client meetings to understand business requirements and operational challenges.
• Perform business process mapping, gap analysis and solution design.
• Configure SAP B1 based on approved business requirements and project scope.
• Coordinate master data preparation and data migration, including Business Partners and Item Master.
• Prepare test scenarios and conduct unit testing, integration testing and UAT.
• Identify functional issues and coordinate with technical team for fixes.
• Coordinate with technical consultants for reports, integrations and add-ons.
• Conduct end-user training and prepare user manuals.
• Manage cutover and go-live activities and provide stabilization support.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP Business One (B1) Functional Consultant to join our ERP implementation team. The candidate will be responsible for understanding client business requirements, mapping business processes with SAP B1 functionalities, configuring modules, supporting implementation projects, conducting user training, and providing post-go-live support.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in SAP Business One implementation and support, strong functional knowledge of ERP processes, and excellent client communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end SAP Business One implementation projects from requirement gathering to go-live and post-implementation support.


• Conduct client meetings to understand business requirements, existing processes, and operational challenges.


• Perform business process mapping, gap analysis, and solution design.


• Prepare Business Blueprint / Business Process Documents and functional specifications.


• Configure SAP B1 based on approved business requirements and project scope.

• Configure workflows, approvals, authorizations, and other system settings.


• Coordinate master data preparation and data migration, including Business Partners, Item Master, opening balances, inventory and other relevant data.


• Prepare test scenarios and conduct unit testing, integration testing and UAT.


• Identify functional issues, analyze root causes and coordinate with the technical team for required fixes or customizations.


• Coordinate with technical consultants for reports, Crystal Reports, integrations, add-ons and custom developments.


• Conduct end-user training and prepare user manuals / training documentation.


• Manage cutover and go-live activities and provide stabilization support after implementation.


• Handle client queries and provide ongoing post-go-live support and functional troubleshooting.


• Maintain project documentation, issue trackers, change requests and implementation records.


• Build strong relationships with clients and communicate project progress, risks and requirements effectively.


• Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend suitable SAP B1 solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Finance, Commerce, Engineering or a related field.


• 35+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Business One Functional Consulting.


• Experience in at least 3–4 major SAP B1 modules, preferably Finance, Sales, Purchase, Inventory and Production/MRP.


• Strong understanding of business processes and ERP implementation methodologies.


• Experience in requirement gathering, configuration, testing, UAT, data migration and go-live.


• Basic to good knowledge of MS SQL / SAP HANA and SQL queries.


• Knowledge of Crystal Reports / SAP B1 reporting tools will be an advantage.


• Experience working with SAP B1 add-ons and third-party integrations will be an advantage.


• Strong analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


• Good client-facing and stakeholder-management skills.


• Ability to work independently as well as with cross-functional technical teams.


• Willingness to travel to client locations when required.

Preferred

• SAP Business One certification.


• Experience in manufacturing, trading, distribution, retail or service-based industries.


• Experience handling complete SAP B1 implementation projects independently.


• Exposure to both SAP B1 on SQL and HANA environments.


• Knowledge of SAP B1 SDK, DI API or Service Layer is an added advantage, although the role is primarily functional.
