Job summary

Nobl Q, Inc. is seeking an experienced SAP Business One Functional Consultant to deliver end-to-end SAP B1 solutions across implementation, configuration, training, and ongoing support.

The role involves leading workshops, mapping business processes to SAP B1, configuring modules such as Purchasing, Inventory, Production, and Finance, and coordinating with technical teams for customizations and integrations. You will train users and ensure smooth go-live and post-go-live support.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated SAP Business One (SAP B1) Functional Consultant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering SAP B1 functional solutions, including implementation, configuration, business process mapping, testing, user training, upgrades, and ongoing support. The consultant will work closely with clients, technical teams, and project stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective SAP B1 solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute SAP Business One functional implementation projects, including requirement gathering, business process analysis, configuration, testing, and go-live support.
• Analyze client business requirements and translate them into appropriate SAP B1 functional solutions.
• Configure SAP Business One modules and business processes based on approved requirements.
• Conduct requirement workshops, process discussions, demonstrations, and solution walkthroughs with clients.
• Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with SAP B1 technical consultants for required customizations, reports, integrations, and add-ons.
• Perform functional testing, integration testing, UAT support, defect analysis, and resolution coordination.
• Support SAP B1 upgrades, patches, migrations, and version enhancements from a functional perspective.
• Provide user training, prepare training materials, and support end users during implementation and post-go-live phases.
• Provide ongoing SAP B1 functional support, issue analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution.
• Prepare and maintain functional documentation, process flows, configuration documents, test cases, and user guides.
• Ensure adherence to SAP Business One best practices and project delivery standards.

Primary Functional Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP Business One functional consulting, implementation, and support .
• Strong knowledge of SAP Business One architecture, business processes, and functional capabilities.
• Strong functional expertise in core SAP B1 modules, including:
• Purchasing – A/P
• Inventory Management
• Production / MRP
• Banking
• Business Partners
• Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes such as Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), Inventory Management, Production, and Financial Accounting .
• Experience in SAP B1 configuration, including document settings, numbering series, approvals, authorizations, posting settings, and business process setup.
• Experience in requirement gathering, gap analysis, business process mapping, and solution design.
• Ability to prepare functional specifications for reports, customizations, integrations, workflows, and add-ons.
• Strong experience in functional testing, UAT coordination, defect analysis, and issue resolution.
• Experience in SAP B1 implementation methodology , data migration, cutover, go-live, and post-go-live support.
• Experience in SAP B1 reporting, queries, dashboards, and formatted searches from a functional perspective.
• Strong understanding of integration points between SAP B1 modules and third-party applications.
• Ability to analyze business requirements and determine whether they can be addressed through standard SAP B1 functionality, configuration, add-ons, or customization.
• Strong understanding of SAP B1 master data, including Business Partners, Items, Warehouses, Price Lists, BOMs, and related master data .
• Strong understanding of SAP B1 document flow and accounting impact across sales, purchasing , inventory, and financial transactions.
• Ability to troubleshoot functional issues and perform root-cause analysis.

Secondary Functional Skills

• Experience with SAP B1 add-ons such as Boyum IT, Produmex , or similar third-party solutions.
• Exposure to WMS, manufacturing, production planning, MRP, warehouse management, or logistics processes .
• Experience with e-commerce, CRM, banking, payment gateway, or other third-party business integrations.
• Exposure to SAP B1 Service Layer, DI API, B1if, and other integration technologies from a functional perspective.
