Job summary

Oben Electric Vehicles in Bengaluru seeks a Senior SAP Business One Functional Consultant to lead SAP B1 implementations, configuring processes and mapping requirements.

You will collaborate with finance, sales, inventory and production teams to ensure successful adoption, along with data migration, UAT, and end-user training. The role demands 8–12 years' hands-on SAP B1 experience and strong stakeholder management in a manufacturing/EV context.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of overall experience with SAP Business One.
• Hands-on SAP B1 implementation, configuration and functional consulting.
• Strong understanding of ERP business processes in Finance, Sales, Purchase, Inventory and Operations.
• Experience in requirement gathering and Fit-Gap analysis.
• Knowledge of UAT, data migration and user training.
• Experience with manufacturing/EV domain is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SAP B1 implementation and rollout projects.
• Understand business requirements and map processes to SAP B1 functionalities.
• Conduct requirement gathering, process analysis and Fit-Gap analysis.
• Configure SAP B1 modules based on business requirements.
• Work closely with Finance, Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Production, SCM and other teams.
• Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with technical/development teams for customisations.
• Define and document business processes, workflows and system requirements.
• Plan and execute SIT, UAT and functional testing, including defect tracking and resolution.
• Support data migration, master-data preparation and validation.
• Conduct user training, prepare user manuals/SOPs and support change management.
• Provide post-go-live support and resolve functional issues with technical teams.
• Analyse system/process gaps and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Coordinate with implementation partners and internal IT teams.
• Manage multiple SAP B1 initiatives and ensure timely milestones.

Role Overview

• Experience in manufacturing/automotive/EV industry will be an added advantage.
