Job summary

Infosys is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer in Bengaluru, India. The role involves designing, developing, and supporting RICEFW objects and working on S/4HANA development. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 5+ years of SAP ABAP experience with implementation projects are required.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in ABAP on HANA, performance optimization, and must be able to work collaboratively with functional teams. Exposure to modern technologies like Fiori/UI5 is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of SAP ABAP experience with 12 S/4HANA implementation/conversion projects.
• Strong expertise in ABAP on HANA, Enhancements (BADIs, User Exits), Interfaces (IDoc, RFC, Web Services).
• Good understanding of Clean Core extensibility concepts and performance optimization techniques.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows)
• Work on S/4HANA development, including custom code remediation and extensibility
• Develop solutions using modern ABAP, CDS Views, AMDP, OData, and RAP
• Ensure code quality, performance optimization, and adherence to standards
• Collaborate with functional teams (SD, MM, FI, EWM, etc.) for requirement understanding and solution delivery
• Participate in design discussions, testing cycles, UAT, and go-live support

Additional Responsibilities

• Exposure to RAP, Fiori/UI5, SAP BTP, CDS/AMDP (advanced), EWM/TM/GRC modules
• Strong communication, analytical skills, and proactive approach
• Ability to work independently and support knowledge sharing within the team

Technical and Professional Requirements

45 years of SAP ABAP experience with 12 S/4HANA implementation/conversion projects

Strong expertise in: - ABAP on HANA / S/4HANA - Enhancements (BADIs, User Exits) - Interfaces (IDoc, RFC, Web Services) - Forms (SmartForms / Adobe Forms)

Good understanding of:- Clean Core extensibility concepts- Performance optimization techniques

Experience with:- ATC, Code Inspector, Transport Management- Agile methodologies
