Geidea in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Lead to guide the ABAP development team, ensure reliable performance of SAP systems, and deliver high-quality enhancements.

You will translate business needs into technical specifications, drive best practices, mentor engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support our expanding SAP landscape.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
• Extensive experience with SAP ABAP programming, including reports, enhancements, forms, interfaces and workflows.
• Knowledge of SAP HANA, CDS Views, and OData services.
• Strong understanding of business processes and SAP modules.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex issues.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Lead and manage the SAP ABAP development team to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables.
• Oversee the design, development, testing, and implementation of SAP ABAP programs and enhancements

Job purpose:

The SAP ABAP Team Lead is responsible for leading the SAP ABAP development team, ensuring high-quality deliverables, and maintaining the SAP system's performance, reliability, and scalability.
