Job summary

Byteridge is seeking an experienced Sr SAP ABAP Developer with a focus on HR/Payroll to join its engineering team in India. You will design, develop, and optimize SAP ABAP modules, emphasizing HR processes and payroll.

The role requires hands-on ABAP, OO concepts, BADIs, enhancements, interfaces, and strong debugging skills. You will collaborate with functional teams to translate business needs into robust solutions and ensure code adheres to standards, while delivering high-quality results.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of SAP ABAP development experience (HR/Payroll focus preferred).
• Proficiency in Object-Oriented ABAP, interface programming, reports, enhancements, BADIs.
• Strong SAP HR and Payroll domain knowledge; SAP HANA and SAP BTP framework.
• Experience writing technical specs and design documentation.
• Excellent analytical, logical, and problem-solving skills; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance SAP applications using ABAP (HR module).
• Work on OO ABAP, interfaces, reports, and enhancements.
• Develop and implement solutions using Enhancement Framework, BADIs, Interactive Reporting, and OOP concepts.
• Create and maintain Global Classes and Methods per requirements.
• Provide SAP HR/Payroll expertise including payroll processing.
• Perform advanced debugging and root-cause analysis to resolve issues.
• Write, review, and validate technical specs and design documents.
• Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Independently manage critical issues and deliver high-quality solutions within timelines.
• Ensure adherence to SAP development standards and best practices.
