About the Role

We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant with strong development skills and hands‑on exposure across multiple SAP modules. The candidate should be capable of handling complex custom developments, enhancements, and integrations while working closely with functional consultants and business users to deliver high‑quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ABAP programs, enhancements, forms, reports, and interfaces.
• Work on RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows).
• Develop custom objects using ABAP/OO, SmartForms, Adobe Forms, ALV Reports, and User Exits/BADIs.
• Collaborate with functional teams (FI, MM, SD, PP, WM, HR, etc.) to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Support data migration and conversion activities using LSMW, BAPIs, and IDocs.
• Work on performance tuning and ensure ABAP code quality standards.
• Participate in integration projects involving ALE/IDoc, RFC, Web Services, and OData.
• Provide support for S/4HANA custom developments (CDS Views, AMDP, Fiori integration, OData services).
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring smooth system operations.
• Prepare technical documentation, unit test cases, and support UAT.
• Mentor junior developers and provide best practice guidance.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of SAP ABAP development experience.
• Expertise in Object‑Oriented ABAP, Enhancements, BADI, User Exits, BAPIs, RFCs.
• Strong experience in multiple SAP modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, WM, HR, etc.).
• Good knowledge of Data Dictionary, ABAP Debugging, and Performance Optimization.
• Experience with SmartForms, Adobe Forms, ALV, Workflows.
• Hands‑on experience with IDoc/ALE, BDC, and LSMW.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA ABAP on HANA (CDS, AMDP, HANA Views).
• Knowledge of Fiori/UI5, OData services.
• SAP Certification in ABAP.
• Experience working in Agile / DevOps environments.
