Job summary

Insight Global seeks experienced SAP ABAP / S/4HANA consultants with hands-on development and implementation expertise. The role covers end-to-end SAP implementations, enhancements, testing, cutover, and go-live activities in a consultant-style capacity.

You will develop SAP solutions using ABAP and ABAP on HANA, work on S/4HANA projects, and manage CDS Views, AMDP, and OData services along with RICEF objects. Strong debugging, collaboration, and delivery focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with end-to-end SAP implementations, enhancements, testing, cutover and go-live.
• Hands-on development using ABAP and ABAP on HANA in S/4HANA environments.
• Skills in CDS Views, AMDP and OData services for modern SAP apps.
• Proficiency with RICEF objects: Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms.
• Strong debugging, testing, and deployment capabilities across projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support SAP solutions using ABAP and ABAP on HANA.
• Contribute to S/4HANA development and implementation projects.
• Create and maintain CDS Views, AMDP, and OData services.
• Handle RICEF objects including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms.
• Integrate with IDocs and BAPIs; support cutover, go-live, and post-go-live activities.
• Collaborate with functional teams and stakeholders to deliver SAP solutions.
• Troubleshoot and optimize ABAP programs and interfaces; follow development standards.

Job description

We are looking for experienced SAP ABAP / S/4HANA Consultants with strong hands-on development and implementation experience. The ideal candidate should have worked on end-to-end SAP implementations, enhancements, testing, cutover, and go-live activities and be comfortable working in a consultant-level role.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and support SAP solutions using ABAP and ABAP on HANA.
• Work on SAP S/4HANA development and implementation projects.
• Develop and maintain CDS Views, AMDP, and OData services.
• Handle RICEF objects including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms.
• Develop and support integrations using IDocs and BAPIs.
• Work on Enhancements, BAdIs, User Exits, and other SAP extension frameworks.
• Participate in technical design, development, unit testing, integration testing, and defect resolution.
• Support cutover, deployment, go-live, and post-go-live activities.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, business stakeholders, and technical teams to deliver SAP solutions.
• Troubleshoot and optimize existing ABAP programs and interfaces.
• Follow SAP development standards and ensure high-quality, maintainable code.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP ABAP / ABAP on HANA.
• Strong experience in SAP S/4HANA.
• Experience with CDS Views and AMDP.
• Hands-on experience with OData services.
• Strong understanding of RICEF development.
• Experience with IDocs and BAPIs.
• Experience with BAdIs, User Exits, Enhancements, and related SAP extension techniques.
• Strong development and debugging skills.
• Experience with testing, implementation, cutover, and go-live activities.
• RAP (RESTful Application Programming Model) experience is a plus.

Preferred Profile

• Strong implementation/project experience rather than only production support.
• Consultant-level communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical deliverables.
• Experience working in large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation or implementation projects.
• Willingness to work from Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, or Pune, as applicable.
