Job summary

NexSAP Solutions in Hyderabad is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer/Consultant to design and deliver RICEF objects across SAP modules, with emphasis on ABAP OO and HANA integration.

You will work with CDS, RAP, OData, SAP Gateway, and IDocs/BAPIs, plus forms and performance tuning, in a hybrid model across multiple Indian cities.

Qualifications

• Hands-on ABAP and OO-ABAP development.
• Experience with CDS views and ABAP on HANA.
• Knowledge of SAP integrations (IDocs, BAPI, RFC, OData).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain RICEF objects (reports, interfaces, forms, workflows) in ABAP.
• Create and optimize CDS views; leverage RAP; support HANA migrations.
• Manage data flows via IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and OData/SAP Gateway services.
• Design Adobe Forms and SmartForms; implement BAdIs or user exits.

Job Overview

• Role: SAP ABAP Developer / Consultant
• Experience: 5 to 7 years
• Location: Hybrid ( Chennai/ Bangalore/ Hyderabad/ Pune )

Key Responsibilities

• Development: Build custom reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and workflows (RICEF) using core and Object-Oriented ABAP.
• S/4HANA & CDS: Create and optimize Core Data Services (CDS) views, use the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP), and support HANA migrations.
• Integrations: Manage data flows via IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and OData/SAP Gateway services.
• Forms & Enhancements: Design Adobe Forms, SmartForms, and implement BAdIs or user exits.

Quality & Support: Write technical specifications, perform unit and integration testing, and debug performance bottlenecks using SQL Trace and Runtime Analysis.

Core Tech: 5+ years of hands-on ABAP and OO-ABAP programming experience.

Modern ABAP: Exposure to ABAP on HANA, CDS views, and OData/Fiori/UI5 integration.

Functional Knowledge: Solid understanding of core modules like SD, MM, FI, or CO.
