Job summary

Birlasoft Limited seeks an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant to deliver end-to-end ABAP solutions across reports, interfaces, conversions, and forms. You will work on OO-ABAP, ABAP on HANA, and CDS views while mentoring project teams and collaborating with SD, MM, PP, and FICO modules.

The role demands strong debugging, performance tuning, and knowledge of ABAP workflows and cross-platform skills. Join a team focused on innovation and reliable SAP delivery.

Qualifications

• ABAP consultant with a minimum of 1 full lifecycle SAP implementation/rollout project.
• Strong experience in Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Smart Forms & Adobe Forms, Enhancements and workflows.
• Proficient in OO-ABAP and ABAP on HANA.
• Skilled in debugging, analyzing and enhancing standard objects.
• Experience in code performance optimization and HANA native features.
• Knowledge of OData, CDS views, IDocs, Web Services, FTP, etc.
• Familiar with ABAP 7.x coding standards and ADT usage.
• Proven communication, presentation, and team leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP ABAP projects and mentor project teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional SAP modules such as SD, MM, PP, FICO, PPQM.
• Drive code reviews, performance tuning, and best practices adoption.
• Contribute to design and development of ABAP-based solutions and interfaces.

SAP ABAP Consultant experience

Experience: 5 to 6 Years

• ABAP Consultant Must have worked on a minimum of 1 full lifecycle SAP implementation /rollout projects.
• Good experience in Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Smart Forms & Adobe Forms, Enhancements, and workflows.
• Good experience in OO-ABAP and ABAP on HANA.
• Good experience in Debugging, Analysing, and enhancing standard objects.
• Good experience in code performance optimization, best practices & HANA native features.
• Good experience/knowledge of OData, CDS views.
• Good experience in Interfaces i.e., IDocs, Web Services, FTP, etc.
• Good experience in Code optimization, Performance tuning, and Runtime Analysis.
• Able to lead a team and projects and mentor/guide the project team members.
• Good Knowledge of Business processes and knowledge of SD, MM, PP, FICO, PPQM.
• Knowledge/Experience in cross-platform skills is required
• Knowledge/Experience on ABAP Web DynPro is required
• Knowledge/Experience on ABAP Workflows is required
• Knowledge/Experience in Fiori/UI5 Development is required
• Knowledge/Experience on any other cross-platform skills is required
• Good knowledge of ABAP 7.x coding standards and using ADT.
