Job summary

Birlasoft Limited in Bengaluru seeks an experienced SAP ABAP Senior Technical Lead to design, develop, and deliver SAP ABAP solutions within S/4HANA environments.

You will work on CDS Views, Fiori, IDOCs, and HANA native development, collaborating with functional and technical teams to drive upgrades and enhancements. The role requires 8–10 years of hands-on SAP ABAP development and strong debugging skills.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience.
• Strong expertise in ABAP/OOABAP, CDS Views, Fiori & OData, IDOCs, RFC, BAPI, ALE/EDI, Adobe Forms, SmartForms and HANA Native Development.
• Experience with S/4HANA implementations and upgrade projects.
• Knowledge of SPDD/SPAU adjustments, OSS Notes, and ChaRM.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and support SAP ABAP solutions.
• Develop RICEF objects including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows.
• Develop CDS Views, OData Services, Fiori applications, and HANA-based developments.
• Prepare technical specifications and collaborate with functional and technical teams.
• Support S/4HANA upgrades, SPDD/SPAU activities, and OSS Note implementations.
• Manage transports and releases using SAP ChaRM.
• Perform code reviews, troubleshooting, performance tuning, testing, cutover, and post-go-live support.

Position Description

Seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Senior Consultant with 8-10 years of strong SAP development experience in ABAP, S/4HANA, CDS Views, Fiori, IDOCs, and HANA Native Development.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and support SAP ABAP solutions.
• Develop RICEF objects including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows.
• Develop and enhance CDS Views, OData Services, Fiori applications, and HANA-based developments.
• Prepare technical specifications and collaborate with functional and technical teams.

• Strong knowledge of SPDD/SPAU adjustments, OSS Notes, and ChaRM.
• Excellent debugging, performance optimization, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Flexible to work in CET shift; candidate must be based in India.
