Birlasoft in Pune seeks an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant with 5-6 years of hands-on delivery experience. You will work on ABAP developments, data interfaces, forms, and workflow enhancements within SAP ECC/S/4HANA environments.

The role requires strong knowledge of OO-ABAP, ABAP on HANA, CDS views, OData, and SAP Fiori/UI5. You will lead project teams, mentor juniors, and ensure code quality, performance tuning, and timely delivery across multiple modules such as SD, MM, PP, FICO.

Qualifikationen

• ABAP consultant with at least 5–6 years of experience.
• Must have worked on minimum one full lifecycle SAP implementation/rollout.
• Strong knowledge of Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Smart Forms & Adobe Forms.
• Experience in OO-ABAP and ABAP on HANA.
• Proficient in debugging, analysis, and enhancements of standard objects.
• Code optimization, performance tuning and HANA native features.
• Knowledge of OData, CDS views and ABAP Web DynPro.
• Experience with IDocs, Web Services, FTP interfaces.
• Leadership experience to mentor project teams.
• Knowledge across SD, MM, PP, FICO modules; cross-platform skills helpful.
• Strong communication, presentation and multitasking abilities.

• Lead ABAP development efforts across SAP implementations and rollouts.
• Design and implement reports, interfaces, conversions, and forms.
• Develop OO-ABAP, ABAP on HANA, and Fiori/UI5 components.
• Optimize code, perform runtime analysis and tuning.
• Work with CDS views, OData services, and IDocs/Web Services.
• Mentor and guide project team members; manage multiple deliverables.

SAP ABAP Consultant experience

Experience: 5 to 6 Years

• ABAP Consultant Must have worked on a minimum of 1 full lifecycle SAP implementation /rollout projects.


• Good experience in Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Smart Forms & Adobe Forms, Enhancements, and workflows.


• Good experience in OO-ABAP and ABAP on HANA.


• Good experience in Debugging, Analysing, and enhancing standard objects.


• Good experience in code performance optimization, best practices & HANA native features.


• Good experience/knowledge of OData, CDS views.


• Good experience in Interfaces i.e., IDocs, Web Services, FTP, etc.


• Good experience in Code optimization, Performance tuning, and Runtime Analysis.


• Able to lead a team and projects and mentor/guide the project team members.


• Good Knowledge of Business processes and knowledge of SD, MM, PP, FICO, PPQM.


• Knowledge/Experience in cross-platform skills is required


• Knowledge/Experience on ABAP Web DynPro is required


• Knowledge/Experience on ABAP Workflows is required


• Knowledge/Experience in Fiori/UI5 Development is required


• Knowledge/Experience on any other cross-platform skills is required


• Good knowledge of ABAP 7.x coding standards and using ADT.


• Proven communication, presentation, team-leading & soft skills


• Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables and projects at the same time
