Job summary

GSR Business Services is seeking an experienced SAP Techno-Functional ABAP consultant to drive design, development, and support across ECC and S/4HANA projects.

You will handle SD/MM/FI/CO/PP/QM/PM modules (2–3+), lead workshops, and develop WRICEF components while guiding upgrades and integrations with functional teams.

Ideal candidates bring 7–10 years of SAP experience, strong ABAP delivery skills, and familiarity with tools like Eclipse, SAP GUI, and Jira.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years SAP ABAP techno-functional experience.
• Min 2–3 implementations and S4 Hana experience.
• Solid knowledge of SAP architecture and modules (SD/MM/FI/CO/PP/QM/PM).
• Experience with WRICEF objects, OData and integration tooling.
• Hands-on ABAP development, interfaces, and upgrades guidance.
• Familiarity with SAP development tools like Eclipse, ADT, SAP GUI.

ob Description (JD) for the S/4 HANA SAP ABAP Techno-Functional Consultant requirement.

Job Description

As an SAP Techno-Functional Consultant specializing in ABAP and SD/MM/FI/CO/PP/QM/PM (at least 2-3 modules) you will play a pivotal role in the design, development, customization, and support of SAP solutions within our ECC & S/4HANA projects.

• Experience in WRICEF objects, OData, BTP
• Should be able to understand the business processes of the organization and the core application environments.
• Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions; identify, interpret, validate, and document requirements.
• Facilitate workshops to collect business requirements.
• Understand existing Business processes, IT landscapes and system architecture.
• Good understanding of SAP Standard SD/MM/FI/CO/PP/QM/PM modules(at least 2-3 modules)
• Support the development team in the implementation of defined processes in SAP (customizing, ABAP development)

Skill sets required:

• 7 to 10 years of SAP ABAP techno functional experience.
• Min 2-3 implementations - should have experience in S4 Hana.
• Solid and practical knowledge of SAP technology and SAP architecture, S/4HANA.
• Knowledge in ECC AFS or S/4 FVB will be added advantage
• Hands on delivery experience with multiple SAP projects including implementations, Rollouts, and support.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, conversions, and enhancements (RICEFW objects)
• Conduct impact analysis and provide technical guidance on system upgrades, patches, and enhancements.
• Design, configure and implement SAP Workflow scenarios to automate and streamline business processes/operations and troubleshoot
• Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business requirements and design technical solutions
• Experience in SAP development (ABAP/4, ABAP Objects)
• Experience with SAP development tools, such as Eclipse, ADT, SAP GUI, BAS
• Development of interfaces in the SAP environment using OData/RFC/BAPI/IDOC/XML/Webservices
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices using ATC checksGood SAP Functional knowledge in SD/MM/FI/CO/PP/QM/PM (at least 2-3 modules).
• Excellent communication skills, service and solution-oriented working style, and high analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Nice to Have: Fiori, SAPUI5 experience
• Document technical designs, configurations, and development activities for reference and future enhancements.
• Share knowledge and expertise with team members through training sessions, workshops, and documentation.
