Job summary

NTT DATA, Inc. in Pune, India is seeking an experienced Salesforce Tester to join the Automation QA team. The role focuses on designing, developing, executing, and maintaining automated test solutions for Salesforce applications, aligning with Salesforce business processes and CI/CD practices.

You will collaborate with developers, BAs, product owners, and QA peers to ensure high-quality Salesforce releases and robust automation coverage across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.

Qualifications

• Typically 4–7+ years of QA experience, including at least 2+ years of Salesforce testing experience and strong hands-on automation experience.
• Experienced Automation QA Engineer with Salesforce experience to design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test solutions.
• Candidate should have strong knowledge of Salesforce business processes and automation/testing tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated test scripts for Salesforce applications across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and other Salesforce solutions.
• Automate end-to-end business processes covering Salesforce UI, integrations, APIs, and backend validations.
• Develop and maintain reusable automation frameworks and test components.
• Execute automated functional, regression, smoke, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Validate Salesforce functionality including standard and custom objects, Lightning pages, Flows, validation rules, approvals, profiles, sharing and security.
• Automate testing of Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and perform API testing with Postman/REST Assured/SoapUI.
• Develop automation using Selenium/Playwright or Copado Robotic Testing; create and maintain test data and utilities.
• Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing.
• Analyze failures, identify root causes, and collaborate with developers for resolution.

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Automation QA Engineer with Salesforce experience to design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test solutions for Salesforce applications.

The candidate should have strong knowledge of Salesforce business processes and hands‑on experience with automation testing tools, API testing, regression testing, and CI/CD integration. The role requires close collaboration with developers, business analysts, product owners, and other QA team members to ensure high‑quality Salesforce releases.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated test scripts for Salesforce applications across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and other Salesforce solutions.
• Automate end‑to‑end business processes covering Salesforce UI, integrations, APIs, and backend validations.
• Develop and maintain reusable automation frameworks and test components.
• Execute automated functional, regression, smoke, integration, and end‑to‑end testing.
• Validate Salesforce functionality including:

• Create and maintain automated test data and reusable test utilities.
• Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing.
• Analyze automated test failures, identify root causes, and collaborate with development teams for resolution.
• Create and maintain test plans, automation strategies, test cases, test scripts, and execution reports.
• Track defects using tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or equivalent tools.
• Participate in requirement reviews, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and defect triage.
• Support SIT, UAT, regression testing, release validation, and production verification.
• Continuously identify opportunities to increase automation coverage and reduce manual regression effort.
