We are currently seeking a Technology Consultant - Salesforce Automation QA Engineer to join our team in Bengaluru, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Automation QA Engineer with strong expertise in test automation, Salesforce application testing, API testing, and quality assurance best practices. The ideal candidate should have hands‑on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test solutions for Salesforce applications and integrations.

The candidate should possess strong knowledge of Salesforce business processes, automation frameworks, regression testing, API validation, and CI/CD integration. The role will work closely with Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, Salesforce Administrators, and QA teams to ensure successful delivery of high‑quality Salesforce solutions.

Day to Day Job Duties

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for Salesforce applications.
• Create reusable automation frameworks and test components to improve test efficiency and coverage.
• Execute automated functional, regression, smoke, integration, and end‑to‑end testing.
• Validate Salesforce functionality including standard and custom objects, Lightning components, Flows, validation rules, approval processes, profiles, permission sets, and sharing rules.
• Automate testing of Salesforce integrations and APIs using REST and SOAP services.
• Perform API testing using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, SoapUI, or equivalent platforms.
• Develop automation solutions using Selenium, Playwright, Copado Robotic Testing, or similar tools.
• Create and maintain test data, automation utilities, and reusable testing assets.
• Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing.
• Analyze test failures, identify root causes, and collaborate with development teams to resolve defects.
• Prepare and maintain test plans, test strategies, automation scripts, test cases, and execution reports.
• Track and manage defects using Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
• Participate in requirement reviews, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and defect triage sessions.
• Support SIT, UAT, regression testing, release validation, and post‑deployment verification activities.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve automation coverage and testing efficiency.

Basic Qualifications

• 4–7+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and Automation Testing.
• 2+ years of hands‑on experience testing Salesforce applications.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce platform concepts, including Objects, Relationships, Lightning Experience, Salesforce Flows, Validation Rules, Profiles, Permission Sets, and Security Models.
• Hands‑on experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Copado Robotic Testing.
• Experience with API testing and Salesforce integration validation.
• Strong understanding of functional, regression, integration, and end‑to‑end testing methodologies.
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum delivery models.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

• Experience working with Salesforce APIs, middleware, and integration platforms.
• Exposure to performance, security, or accessibility testing.
• Experience with cloud‑based testing platforms and test automation accelerators.
• Knowledge of Salesforce deployment processes and release management practices.
• Experience implementing automation frameworks from the ground up.
• Strong analytical, stakeholder management, communication, and problem‑solving skills.

Preferred Experience Profile

• 4–7+ years of QA and Automation Testing experience.
• Minimum 2+ years of Salesforce testing experience.
• Strong background in UI, API, and Integration Testing.
• Hands‑on experience with Selenium, Playwright, or Copado Automation.
• Experience integrating automated tests within CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Salesforce business processes and platform capabilities.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with business and technical stakeholders.
