Job summary

ETS seeks a Salesforce Technical Lead in India to steer global Salesforce initiatives, mentor developers, and ensure high-quality delivery across platforms. You will collaborate with product owners and solution architects to guarantee robust, scalable Salesforce solutions and oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of developments.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in technical leadership for Salesforce projects, and hold at least three Salesforce certifications including Admin and Developer I, with

Salesforce Technical Lead – India

The Salesforce Technical Lead – India is a varied, business-facing, and technical leadership role that will help grow ETS and subsidiaries' Salesforce platform globally. This high-impact position partners with product owners and solution architects to guarantee delivery and oversee the quality of new developments. It leads developers to deliver full Salesforce processes and has oversight of platform capabilities. The Lead owns the integrity and strength of the solutions built by the team and acts as an effective mentor for the Salesforce developers and administrators working alongside.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

• Lead Salesforce implementations, providing both oversight and hands on contributions to design, development, and integration
• Represent the development team during Salesforce backlog grooming and own technical estimates
• Supervise the configuration, development, quality assurance, testing, and deployment of Salesforce developments, maintenance releases, and fixes
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues as they arise during the lifecycle
• Lead team members by providing technical oversight and ensuring solution quality is maintained
• Build people capability to ensure operational excellence and maintain quality and velocity of the development
• Provide guidance on user story writing style
• Ensure documentation of testing steps
• Act as release manager, approving configuration and coded items to be deployed between environments
• Support product owners and architects for the creation of prototypes and proofs of concept to elicit requirements
• Identify technical risks and implement mitigation plans
• Ensure standard processes, procedures, recommended resolutions, and best practices are followed
• Adhere to ethical standards and comply with laws and regulations applicable to the job function
• Excellent ability to coach, motivate, and direct tasks to a team of Salesforce professionals
• Ability to demonstrate technical concepts visually and in writing
• Strong ability to influence, relationship building, and collaboration skills
• Leadership skills, including ability to facilitate team and client meetings effectively and deliver constructive feedback

Education And Experience

• Bachelor's or postgraduate degree or professional qualification in Business, Computer Science, Marketing, Finance or similar field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a technical leading role for Salesforce projects
• Minimum of 3 Salesforce certifications, including Administrator and Developer 1
• Additional Salesforce certifications in the application path and system path are a plus
• Trailhead Ranger level and active in the Salesforce community is desirable

• The base salary range advertised represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
