You’ll own a critical strategic charter end‑to‑end, architecting scalable and resilient solutions on Force.com while influencing architectural decisions across complementary technologies like React Native and Spark. You’ll tackle sophisticated engineering challenges across domains such as telecom and energy, delivering capabilities that enhance customer efficiency and unlock value.

What You’ll do
- Take the lead in defining, executing, and raising the bar for technical excellence.
- Collaborate deeply with engineering, product, and design partners across global teams and guide your development pod through clarity of thought, strategic technical prioritization, and rigorous execution.
- Drive architectural decision‑making, author technical design docs, lead implementation, solve high‐complexity platform challenges, and ensure systems remain performant, secure, and future‑ready.
- Mentor others through code reviews, pairing, and modeling best‑in‑class engineering behaviours.
- Accelerate the organization’s long‑term technical maturity and velocity.
The Skills You’ll Have
Technical Architecture & Platform Design
- Lead technical architecture for major product modules and design scalable, performant Salesforce solutions.
- Ensure architectural decisions align across Salesforce and complementary technologies like React Native and Spark.
- Evaluate technical risks and make strategic trade‑off decisions.
- Drive platform integration at scale, aligning data models and execution flows.
- Design for extensibility, resilience, and long‑term adaptability.
Excellence in Salesforce Engineering & Platform Execution
- Develop and implement solutions using Apex, SOQL/SOSL, LWC, and Aura with deep platform knowledge.
- Optimize query performance, runtime execution, and governor limit consumption.
- Establish and enforce coding standards and scalable design patterns.
- Build secure, high‑quality, maintainable code foundations.
- Implement comprehensive testing strategies, including performance and security validation.
Technical Leadership & Mentorship
- Mentor engineers through hands‑on guidance in debugging, refactoring, and architectural thinking.
- Model engineering excellence and elevate team capabilities.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and documentation.
- Facilitate knowledge‑sharing sessions and technical deep dives.
- Guide teams to operate with stronger technical clarity and ownership.
Product Collaboration & Cross‑Functional Influence
- Collaborate with Product Managers to align scope, sequencing, and feasibility.
- Translate business objectives into well‑formed technical execution plans.
- Produce clear technical design documentation for diverse audiences.
- Advocate for scalable, customer‑centric technical solutions.
- Ensure technical efforts directly support product outcomes and customer value.
Within 90 Days, You’ll
- Develop a deep understanding of core Salesforce product modules and their execution patterns.
- Ramp fully into Sitetracker’s technology stack, architectural guidelines, and engineering principles.
- Deliver enhancements and fixes that demonstrate quality, speed, and architectural alignment.
- Contribute meaningful insight through code reviews and technical recommendations.
- Build strong working relationships across engineering, product, and design.
Within 180 Days, You’ll
- Design, build, and release large‑impact platform components or features.
- Serve as the primary technical reference for key modules in the stack.
- Lead incident investigations and drive preventative improvements.
- Identify areas of technical debt and initiate prioritized remediation efforts.
- Shape roadmap discussions by offering well‑reasoned technical perspectives.
Within 365 Days, You’ll
- Drive a significant technical or product initiative from initial concept through launch, adoption, and stability.
- Elevate team technical maturity through ongoing mentorship, code quality improvements, and process refinements.
- Improve system maintainability, scalability, and developer productivity through modernization or re‑architecture efforts.
- Reduce defects and accelerate development velocity through improved engineering practices.
- Become a domain expert in the industries served (telecom, EV, renewables, utilities), applying that knowledge to system design and product evolution.
