Job summary

BP is seeking a Solution Analyst to join BP Business Sol (HC) in Pune. The role focuses on using data to drive business solutions, ensuring data quality, integrity, and accessibility for informed decision-making.

You will work across data functions, support governance of template solutions, and translate business requirements into actionable designs while collaborating with global teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering/technology or equivalent.
• 7+ years of relevant work experience with systems and process design.
• Strong presentation and communication skills and ability to influence collaborators.

Responsibilities

• Govern template solutions and drive design changes through design authority.
• Translate complex business requirements into simplified solution designs.
• Propose designs for global standard solutions meeting business needs.
• Explain concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Prepare functional specifications and solution design inputs.
• Support creation of training and knowledge-sharing materials.
• Lead template integration efforts and design reviews.
• Identify problems, perform root-cause analysis, and resolve incidents.
• Advise on integration considerations for external interfaces.
• Provide testing scenarios for new designs or changes.

As a Solution Analyst at BP Business Sol (HC), you will play a crucial role in demonstrating data to drive business solutions, working across various data functions to ensure data quality, integrity, and accessibility for informed decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• - Support the governance of template solutions and bring design changes through the relevant design authority or forum.
• - For approved demand, understand business requirements and complex business processes and scenarios and translate / break these down into a simplified set of requirements for which solutions can be investigated.
• - Propose design for global standard solutions to meet business needs.
• - Explain concepts and solutions to technical and non-technical collaborators.
• - Prepare or provide input to functional specifications for solution design.
• - Support the preparation, structure, and delivery of presentation materials for template familiarization, template fit-gap, solution design, user training and team knowledge sharing.
• - Support template fit gap and user training sessions
• - Support peer review process for design changes, providing input and feedback.
• - Identify, analyze, and delineate problems.
• - Investigate and resolve solution incidents and conduct root cause analysis.
• - Identify designs that need multi-functional input.
• - Advise others on integration considerations for interfaces coming from external systems.
• - For new designs or changes to design, provide testing scenarios to ensure the solution is robust.
• - Understand, adopt, and embrace agile principles and agile ways of working.
• - Where agreed, act as Solution Integration Lead for specific projects, providing support to the project teams and their interaction and solution needs with the rest of the solutions team.
• - Suitably qualified professional with bachelor's in computer science/engineering/technology degree or similar education background
• - Strong presentation and communication skills, including the ability to articulate complex processes and influence a wide range of collaborators.
• - Passion and experience in capturing business requirements and improving processes and systems. - General understanding of systems deployment activities.
• - Ability to work and collaborate within a virtual global team environment
• - Ability to priorities effectivehal.

Product Experience & Expertise

• - Strong knowledge and experience in Salesforce as technology
• - Deep knowledge of procurement processes, supplier interaction and management.
• - Good understanding of digital adoption tools such as WalkMe.
• - Knowledge of Salesforce platforms - specifically service cloud functionality and configuration.
• - Salesforce admin certification is mandatory
• - Experience in Agentic AI would be preferable
• - 7+ years of relevant work experience with systems and process design with deep technical knowledge in Salesforce
• - Experience working in a multi-national organization
• - At least 3 + years of experience of system design
• - Knowledge on AI and relevant AI tools/technology
