Job summary

BP is seeking a Solution Analyst in our Finance IT stream to translate business needs into SAP-based digital solutions. The role focuses on SAP FI/FSCM, including Credit Management, with collaboration across ECC and S/4 HANA landscapes.

You will liaise with technology partners to ensure robust design and successful deployment, supporting the S/4 transformation and ensuring alignment with bp's finance objectives. Hybrid work model in India is expected.

Qualifications

• SAP FI/FSCM - Credit Management experience is essential.
• Strong presentation and communication skills to articulate complex processes.
• Understanding of finance systems deployment and integration in a virtual global team.

Job Summary*

As a Solution Analyst at BP Business Sol (HC), you will play a pivotal role in translating business needs into effective digital solutions.

As a Solution Analyst you will use your business and SAP technical skills to work on solution design relating to bp's SAP FI/FSCM solutions specially in the areas of S4 HANA Credit management and Intercompany processes within bp In Addition, you'll liase with the technology partner teams to ensure the successful build and deployment of the solution.

Job Responsibilities**

• Apply Agility core practices to contribute to the design, development, and implementation of solutions.
• Demonstrate Commercial Acuity by understanding the business impact of proposed solutions and aligning them with strategic goals.
• Effectively communicate technical concepts and solution proposals to diverse audiences, both technical and non-technical.
• Use business and SAP technical knowledge in the areas of SAP FI and FSCM to arrive at a robust design solution for projects and enhancements in Finance, intercompany and credit management related processes.
• Support Managing strategic partnerships by collaborating with external vendors and collaborators.
• As we look to integrate our ECC landscape with S/4 HANA, you will be responsible for understanding the As-is processes in ECC and provide suggestions for business process improvement on S/4 based on the new features.
• You will also provide support to the S/4 Transformation team on design questions for the future bp Template, handle training for the new solutions implemented in S/4
• Facilitate effective Stakeholder Engagement throughout the solution lifecycle, gathering requirements and managing expectations.

Job Qualifications**

• Suitably qualified professional in Finance with 7-12 years of SAP experience in SAP FI/FSCM - Credit Management
• Strong presentation and communication skills, including the ability to articulate complex processes and influence a wide range of collaborators.
• General understanding of systems deployment activities.
• Ability to work and collaborate within a virtual global team environment
• Ability to build strong relationships with business collaborators, technical teams and delivery teams.
