Job summary

Ken42 is hiring a Salesforce QA Engineer in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. The role focuses on manual and functional testing with opportunities to contribute to automation.

You will validate Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and related components, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality across web applications and APIs. The ideal candidate has 2-4 years of experience in software QA, with hands-on Salesforce testing, API testing, and familiarity with automation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of software quality assurance and testing experience.
• Strong experience in functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.
• Hands-on experience testing Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Lightning Experience, Flows, and custom Salesforce applications.
• Experience with API testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Familiarity with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Provar, Playwright, Cypress, or similar is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test cases for Salesforce applications, web applications, APIs, and product features.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, end-to-end, and user acceptance testing.
• Validate Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, custom objects, Flows, workflows, approval processes, and Lightning components.
• Test product functionalities, user journeys, business workflows, and integrations across multiple platforms.
• Test Salesforce integrations with third-party applications and APIs.
• Create and maintain test plans, test scenarios, test data, and test documentation.
• Identify, document, track, and verify defects through resolution.
• Execute API testing and validation using tools such as Postman.
• Collaborate with Developers, Salesforce Administrators, Product Managers, and business stakeholders to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Contribute to automation initiatives by creating and maintaining automated test scripts where applicable.
• Participate in release validation, deployment testing, and production verification activities.
• Prepare detailed test reports and provide insights to improve product quality and user experience.

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Salesforce QA Engineer who is passionate about ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of Salesforce solutions as well as customer-facing web applications and products. While the primary focus of this role is manual and functional testing, experience with QA automation frameworks and automation testing practices will be a strong advantage.

• Hands‑on experience testing Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Lightning Experience, Flows, and custom Salesforce applications.
• Experience testing web applications, APIs, and business‑critical product workflows.
• Experience with API testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Good understanding of Salesforce data models, security models, roles, profiles, permission sets, and integrations.
• Familiarity with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Provar, Playwright, Cypress, or similar is an added advantage.
• Experience building or maintaining automated test suites and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of SOQL, Apex, and Lightning Web Components (LWC) is a plus.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies, defect management processes, and CI/CD practices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
