Job summary

Teradyne is seeking a Salesforce Developer to join our Center of Excellence and enhance our Salesforce CRM. You will design, develop, test, and implement customizations, extensions, and integrations that align with business needs.

Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success and Marketing to translate requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions. You will work with Apex, JavaScript, and Lightning components to build applications, define timelines, test functionality, and troubleshoot issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• English proficiency.
• 4+ years of Salesforce.com development experience.
• Experience with Apex, Visualforce, REST/SOAP APIs, and Salesforce integrations.
• Experience with Aura components and Lightning Web Components (LWC).

Opportunity Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Salesforce Developer to join our Center of Excellence (CoE) for Salesforce. Salesforce is already widely used in some parts of Teradyne and is still being rolled out in others. As a member of our team, you will develop and enhance Salesforce to meet our business needs.

As a Salesforce Developer, you will design, develop, test, and implement customizations, applications, extensions, and integrations that maximize the efficacy of our CRM. You will work collaboratively with Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing teams to translate business needs into effective and scalable products within the CRM. Your contributions will directly impact the growth and future of Teradyne's Ancher platform Salesforce.

You will work in a team of fellow developers locally and internationally and be expected to use programming languages such as Apex and JavaScript to develop customized solutions within the Salesforce platform. You will also be responsible for creating timelines and development goals, testing the stability and functionality of the application, and troubleshooting and fixing bugs.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage user access controls and ensure compliance with security policies. Collaborate with security teams to conduct risk assessments and implement advanced threat protection measures, such as endpoint security and incident response protocols.
• In close cooperation with business partners, gather, analyze, and document functional and technical requirements for new projects, enhancements to existing solutions, and production issues reported by end users.
• Translate business requirements into well‑architected solutions that best leverage the Salesforce platform and products.
• Provide detailed level of effort estimates for proposed solutions. Articulate the benefits and risks to a solution’s feasibility and functionality.
• Optimize all standard processes within Salesforce through customization, focusing on optimization and ease of use for both internal and external users.
• Build Salesforce applications and leverage the full capabilities of the Salesforce platform to support the company’s initiatives.
• Develop highly interactive UI and customer applications using the newest technologies.
• Develop needed elements within Salesforce to integrate smoothly with other anchor platforms.
• Apply best practices and design patterns of best‑of‑breed applications developed on the Salesforce.com platform.
• Create and execute unit, integration, and user acceptance test plans, including use cases and test data.

Minimum Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or related technical field OR equivalent experience.
• English proficiency.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience with:
• Salesforce.com development including modification of standard objects and fields and creation of custom objects and fields.
• Apex and Visualforce development, design, configuration, testing and deployment of Salesforce.com solutions.
• Customization and configuration of Salesforce functionality using the most up‑to‑date technologies.
• REST/SOAP APIs and experience building integrations with Salesforce.com.
• Building or maintaining particularly Salesforce Cloud Experience.
• Aura components and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
