Teradyne seeks an experienced Salesforce Developer to join our Center of Excellence in Bengaluru. The role focuses on designing, developing, testing, and implementing Salesforce customizations and integrations to meet business needs.

You will work with Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing to translate requirements into scalable CRM products, using Apex and JavaScript to build customized solutions within Salesforce. Team collaboration is key in a global context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in CS/engineering or related field.
• 4+ years of Salesforce development experience.
• Experience modifying standard objects and fields and creating custom objects/fields.
• Apex and Visualforce development, testing and deployment.
• Customization and configuration using up-to-date Salesforce technologies.
• Experience with REST/SOAP API integrations with Salesforce.com.
• Experience building Salesforce Cloud Experience.
• Experience with Aura components and LWCs.

Opportunity Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Salesforce Developer to join our Center of Excellence (CoE) for Salesforce. Salesforce is already widely used in some parts of Teradyne and is still being rolled out in others. As a member of our team, you will be dedicated to developing and enhancing Salesforce to meet our business needs.

As a Salesforce Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing customizations, applications, extensions, and integrations that maximize the efficacy of our CRM. You will work collaboratively with our Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing teams to translate business needs into effective and scalable products within the CRM. Your contributions will directly impact the growth and future of Teradyne's Ancher platform Salesforce.
You will work in a team of fellow developers locally and internationally and be expected to use programming languages such as Apex and JavaScript to develop customized solutions within the Salesforce platform. You will also be responsible for creating timelines and development goals, testing the stability and functionality of the application, and troubleshooting and fixing bugs.

As the Developer in Teradyne your primary responsibilities will include:

• System performance, Security & Risk Management: Manage user access controls and ensure compliance with security policies. Collaborate with security teams to conduct risk assessments and implement advanced threat protection measures, such as endpoint security and incident response protocols.
• In close cooperation with business partners, gather, analyze and document functional and technical requirements for new projects, enhancements to existing solutions and production issues reported by end users.
• Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the Salesforce platform and products
• Provide detailed level of effort estimates for proposed solutions. Articulate the benefits and risks to a solution’s feasibility and functionality
• Optimize all standard processes within Salesforce through customization, focusing on optimization and ease of use for both internal and external users.
• Build Salesforce applications and leverage the full capabilities of the Salesforce platform to support the company’s initiatives.
• Develop highly interactive UI and customer applications using the newest technologies.
• Develop needed elements within Salesforce to integrate smoothly with other anchor platforms
• Apply best practices and design patterns of best-of-breed applications developed on the Salesforce. com platform
• Create and execute unit, integration and user acceptance test plans, including use cases and test data

Minimum job requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering or related technical field OR equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience with
• Salesforce.com development including modification of standard objects and fields and creation of custom objects and fields
• Apex and Visualforce development, design, configuration, testing and deployment of Salesforce.com solutions
• Customization, configuration of Salesforce functionality using the most up-to-date technologies
• REST/SOAP APIs and experience building integrations with Salesforce.com.
• Building or maintaining particularly Salesforce Cloud Experience
• Aura components and Lightning Web Components (LWC)
