Job summary

TCS Enterprise Solutions Unit (ESU) in India seeks a Salesforce Dev-Ops Engineer with 6–10 years of hands-on experience across the Salesforce platform, metadata, org structure, and deployment lifecycle. You will lead CI/CD initiatives and support complex release programs within Agile teams.

Role involves implementing and managing Copado pipelines, end-to-end deployments across Dev, QA, UAT, and Production, and ensuring code quality with Apex tests and static analysis.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Salesforce CI/CD experience with deployment lifecycles and metadata
• Copado-centric deployment pipelines and environment management
• Proficient with Git-based version control, branching and merge resolution
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce components: Apex, LWC, Flows, Triggers, Metadata APIs
• Experience in end-to-end deployments across Dev, QA, UAT and Production
• Experience enforcing code quality, Apex test coverage, validations and static analysis
• Troubleshooting deployment failures and Copado pipeline errors
• Agile/Scrum environment experience with cross-functional teams
• Salesforce and/or Copado certifications preferred (Administrator, Platform Developer)
• Ability to work across Bangalore/Hyderabad/Chennai locations

Role Name: Salesforce Dev-Ops Engineer

• 1. 6+ years of hands-on experience on the Salesforce platform with strong understanding of metadata, org structure, and deployment lifecycle.
• 2. Extensive experience implementing and managing Salesforce CI/CD pipelines using Copado.
• 3. Hands on expertise with Copado User Stories, Pipelines, Promotions, and Environment Management.
• 4. Strong knowledge of Git-based version control, branching strategies, and merge conflict resolution within Copado.
• 5. Proven experience handling end to end deployments across Dev, QA, UAT, and Production environments.
• 6. Experience enforcing code quality, Apex test coverage, validation runs, and static code analysis.
• 7. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve deployment failures, dependency issues, and Copado pipeline errors.
• 8. Solid understanding of Salesforce development components (Apex, LWC, Flows, Triggers, Metadata APIs).
• 9. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, collaborating closely with developers, QA, and release teams.
• 10. Salesforce and/or Copado certification preferred (Administrator, Platform Developer, Copado Admin/Consultant).
