Job summary

Tekskills in Chennai seeks a Senior Requirements Engineer to liaise with business stakeholders, translate strategy into epics and user stories, and ensure IT solution integrity for Salesforce deployments.

You will own topic clusters, align with Product Owner and IT Leads, drive governance, and contribute to continuous improvement across complex enterprise demands.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with business stakeholders to understand the business strategy and document the requirements and develop process flows
• Understand Business Requirements and break down Demands into EPICS and User Stories
• Work with business partners to gather, understand, and define business requirements
• As Chief Requirement Engineer, assure IT solution integrity
• Own one or more topic cluster (e.g. Retail Processes, data Integration, Digital Marketing) and provide leverage for IT Lead
• Steer demands within the topic cluster with Business Architects, Business Analysts and Requirements Engineers
• Conduct reviews and guide Requirements Engineers and assure integrity of demands
• Support Requirements Engineers with impediments to dependencies
• Exercise/Execute governance for the Requirement Engineering Process
• Align with Product Owner and IT Lead on content, timing and status of demands
• Define Staging and epics, assure integration patterns/architectural requirements
• Develop user stories and to-be process flows for Salesforce solutions
• Detect dependencies to other systems/demands and align with squad setup
• Manage and track Change requirements throughout the project lifecycle
• Ensure use of Daimler IT project management tools and methodologies
• Conduct regular status meetings and report stakeholder needs
• Mentor the team and assess competency needs
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement and propose best practices
• Create/Propose Demand Management baselines as needed

Role & responsibilities

Liaise with the business stakeholder in all channels (Sales company departments, wholesale, retail, e-commerce partners, etc..) to understand the business strategy and document the business requirements and Develop process flows

• Responsible for understanding Business Requirements and break down Demands into EPICS and User Stories
• Work with business partners and end users to gather, understand, and define business requirements.
• As Chief Requirement Engineer, you will be responsible for assuring IT solution integrity.
• Own one or more topic cluster (e.g. Retail Processes, data Integration, Digital Marketing, etc.) and provide leverage for IT Lead
• Steers demands within the topic cluster in close alignment with Business Architects, Business Analysts and Requirements Engineers and be responsible for the respective demands (steering in regards to content, timing, dependencies)
• Conducts reviews, provides guidance and concrete input to Requirements Engineers and assures integrity of demands in regards to the target picture
• Supports Requirements Engineers in case of impediments in their work (e.g. in case of dependencies to stakeholders)
• Exercise / Execute governance for the Requirement Engineering Process
• Align with Product Owner and IT Lead on content, timing and status of demands (incl. epics and user stories)
• Define Staging and epics, Assuring IT solution integrity and ensure the consideration of integration patterns/other architectural requirements
• Develop user stories and to-be process flows to support the design and development of Salesforce solutions for our business.
• Detect dependencies to other systems/demands/-
• Align with required squad setup for new demands together with BU & IT Leads
• Manage and track the status of Change requirements throughout the project lifecycle enforce and redefine as necessary
• Ensuring appropriate use of Daimler IT project management tools, governance, processes, policies and methodologies
• Conduct regular status meetings with all stakeholders, keeping the stakeholders needs and requirements continuously in view and their related reporting.
• Mentoring the team as well as periodically assess competency needs
• Drive Innovation and Continuous improvement, encourage & propose best practices
• Create / Propose Demand Management baselines as and when required.
