Job summary

Symbiosis Management Consultants seeks a Salesforce Administrator & Developer to maintain, configure, and optimize Salesforce for daily operations. You will manage users, security, and data, while building automations with Flow and Apex.

The role requires Lightning experience, REST API integration work, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions. A strong development mindset and certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.
• 3 to 5 years hands-on Salesforce Administration and Platform Development experience.
• Strong experience with Salesforce Lightning Experience.
• Hands-on with Flow, Apex, Triggers, SOQL/SOSL, Reports, Dashboards.
• Experience with REST APIs and third-party integrations.

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain, configure, troubleshoot, and optimize the Salesforce platform to ensure reliable business operations.
• Provide day-to-day Salesforce support by managing user requests, resolving incidents, and handling support tickets.
• Manage users, profiles, roles, permission sets, queues, public groups, sharing rules, and security configurations.
• Configure and maintain custom objects, custom fields, page layouts, record types, Lightning Record Pages, Dynamic Forms, validation rules, formula fields, and approval processes.
• Develop, and optimize Salesforce Flow automations to streamline business processes.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance Apex Classes, Apex Triggers, Batch Apex, Queueable Apex, and Scheduled Jobs for business-specific requirements.
• Develop and maintain Lightning Web Components (LWC) to deliver intuitive and responsive user interfaces.
• Write efficient SOQL and SOSL queries for reporting, troubleshooting, and data retrieval.
• Support Salesforce integrations with third‑party applications using REST APIs, Named Credentials, Connected Apps, and Platform Events.
• Assist in data migration, data cleansing, duplicate management, and overall data quality initiatives using Data Loader and Data Import tools.
• Troubleshoot production issues using Debug Logs, Developer Console, Salesforce Inspector, and platform monitoring tools.
• Participate in release management activities including deployments through Salesforce DevOps and GitHub.
• Collaborate with business users to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and recommend scalable Salesforce solutions.
• Prepare technical documentation, configuration documents, deployment notes, and knowledge articles.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression testing, and Salesforce seasonal release validation.
• Familiar with Salesforce development best practices, coding standards, governance policies, and security guidelines.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

3 to 5 years of hands‑on experience in Salesforce Administration and Platform Development.

• Strong experience working with Salesforce Lightning Experience.

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross‑functional teams.

Preferred certifications

• Salesforce Certified Administrator (ADM 201).

Salesforce Platform App Builder Certification.

• Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification.
• Experience working with Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub, or Copado deployment pipelines.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodology.
• Basic knowledge of CI/CD practices for Salesforce deployments.
• Exposure to OmniStudio, Experience Cloud, or Salesforce AI capabilities will be an added advantage.
