Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Education Cloud Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise-scale K-12 digital education platforms built on Salesforce Education Cloud. The ideal candidate should possess deep expertise in architecting solutions that support the complete student lifecycle—from admissions through graduation—while integrating academic, administrative, parent, and teacher experiences into a unified platform.
The candidate will collaborate with business stakeholders, school administrators, educators, and technical teams to define scalable, secure, and high-performing Salesforce solutions for modern K-12 institutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead solution architecture for enterprise K-12 Education Cloud implementations.
- Design scalable Salesforce Education Cloud solutions supporting Kindergarten through Grade 12 students.
- Define end-to-end student lifecycle architecture, including:
- Student recruitment
- Enrollment and admissions
- Registration
- Student information management
- Academic progress tracking
- Behaviour and discipline tracking
- Teacher collaboration
- Graduation and alumni transition
- Build role-based experiences for:
- Students
- Parents/Guardians
- Teachers
- School Administrators
- District Administrators
- Counsellors
- Design scalable Experience Cloud portals for parents, students, and faculty.
- Define security architecture including FERPA/GDPR/privacy controls, role hierarchy, sharing model, and permission strategies.
- Lead enterprise integration architecture with:
- Student Information Systems (SIS)
- Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Assessment platforms
- Identity Providers (SSO)
- ERP/Finance systems
- Library systems
- Transportation systems
- Design automation using Flow, Apex, OmniStudio (where applicable), and Platform Events.
- Lead Data Cloud adoption for unified student insights and analytics where required.
- Participate in discovery workshops, solution blueprinting, architecture reviews, and governance.
- Mentor technical teams and establish Salesforce development best practices.
- Support estimations, presales, RFPs, architecture governance, and customer presentations.
Required Experience
- 12+ years of Salesforce experience
- Minimum 5 years of Education Cloud architecture experience
- Experience leading multiple enterprise Salesforce implementations
- Experience defining enterprise solution architecture and governance
