Job Summary

The Sales Ops Program Manageris a hands‑on analytics and automation professional who supports sales operations through accurate reporting, efficient workflows, and actionable business insights. The role combines strong execution skills in Excel, Power BI, SQL, and automation with disciplined program management, clear communication, and effective cross‑functional collaboration.

Complex architectural, strategic, or cross‑enterprise decisions are escalated to senior program or functional leaders.

Job Responsibilities
  • Gather and document business requirements, reporting needs, process pain points, success measures, and acceptance criteria in partnership with stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain Excel-based analytical tools using advanced formulas, PivotTables, Power Query, data validation, and structured templates; use VBA or Office Scripts where appropriate.
  • Identify repetitive sales operations tasks and build practical automations that reduce manual effort, improve consistency, and strengthen controls.
  • Create and enhance Power BI dashboards, reports, and KPI scorecards using well‑structured data models, DAX measures, Power Query, drill‑through, filters, and user‑friendly visual design.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, join, transform, reconcile, and validate data from multiple sources.
  • Support end‑to‑end delivery activities including intake, scope clarification, work planning, dependency tracking, testing, UAT coordination, release readiness, documentation, and stakeholder updates.
  • Perform data quality checks, root‑cause analysis, and reconciliation across source systems, SQL outputs, Excel models, and Power BI reports.
  • Partner with data engineering and IT teams to clarify source‑system logic, resolve defects, improve refresh reliability, and maintain appropriate access controls.
  • Create clear process documentation, metric definitions, user guides, test evidence, and release notes to ensure repeatability and operational continuity.
  • Communicate insights, delivery status, risks, dependencies, and trade‑offs clearly to both business and technical audiences.
  • Facilitate working sessions, requirements reviews, demos, and UAT discussions; incorporate feedback and build stakeholder confidence in the solution.
  • Support dashboard and automation adoption through training, office hours, responsive issue management, and continuous improvement.
  • Apply AI‑assisted productivity capabilities responsibly for documentation, analysis, quality checks, and workflow acceleration where approved.
Experience & Education
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in sales operations, business intelligence, data analytics, reporting, automation, revenue operations, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated hands‑on experience developing business solutions with Excel, Power BI, and SQL.
  • Strong Excel capability, including advanced formulas, PivotTables, Power Query, data cleansing, reconciliation, and repeatable reporting templates; VBA or Office Scripts experience is desirable.
  • Proficiency in Power BI, including data transformation, data modeling, DAX, dashboard design, publishing, refresh management, and basic security concepts.
  • Solid SQL skills, including joins, aggregations, subqueries or CTEs, data validation, and query troubleshooting.
  • Experience automating recurring reporting or operational workflows using tools such as Power Automate, Excel automation, scripting, or comparable platforms.
  • Experience supporting project or program delivery with multiple stakeholders, defined milestones, dependencies, and quality expectations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain data, technical logic, issues, and recommendations in clear business language.
