Job summary

Reputed Paints manufacturing company in Chennai is seeking a Sales Officer for Deco Sales Construction Chemicals. The role focuses on developing waterproofing applicators with technical, retail, and business support to drive sales.

You will build relationships with contractors, dealers, and architects, recommend suitable waterproofing products based on site issues, and provide on-site technical support to retail teams, trials, and demos.

Responsibilities

• Develop waterproofing applicators with technical, retail, and business support to drive sales.
• Interface with clients to understand needs and propose viable technical-commercial solutions.
• Build relationships with top contractors, dealers, and architects.
• Recommend appropriate waterproofing products/systems based on site issues.
• Provide technical support for retail and DG teams during trials, mockups, and demos.
• Supervise waterproofing product application on-site.
• Train applicators and teams on application, QA, and QC within assigned geography.
• Identify new markets, track trends, gather feedback, and prepare forecasts.
• Conduct market comparisons on products, initiatives, and schemes.
