Job summary

Abacus Consultants in India seeks a Sales Manager for Direct Channel and DSA Channel to drive sales growth, lead the Sales Officer team, and build customer relationships. You will plan strategies, manage risk and operations liaison, and ensure cross-selling, portfolio monitoring, and timely disbursements.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute sales strategies in line with branch targets and local market opportunities.
• Lead, guide and monitor the Sales Officer team for target achievement and productivity.
• Develop business through builders, connectors, brokers, references and other direct channels.
• Acquire new customers and manage key/complex customer relationships.
• Coordinate with Risk, Operations and Sales Governance teams for smooth and compliant operations.
• Ensure efficient execution across sourcing, approval, servicing and collections.
• Drive faster TATs and adherence to processes and best practices.
• Drive cross-selling of products based on customer requirements.
• Monitor portfolio quality, NPAs, credit trends and risk indicators.
• Prepare and review MIS reports related to sales, disbursements, profitability and portfolio performance.
• Train, mentor and develop team members while ensuring achievement of business objectives.
