Idfc First Bank Limited is seeking a Manager – Gold Loan to drive gold loan growth across multiple branches. You will lead a team of DSAs, acquire NTB/ETB customers, promote products, ensure portfolio quality, and support audits with branch teams.

The role requires 2+ years in retail banking, strong sales and compliance skills, and willingness to travel regionally. Graduation in any discipline is required.

Qualifications

• Graduation in any discipline from a recognised institution.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in retail banking, preferably with lending products such as gold loans within BFSI.
• Strong sales, communication and compliance skills required.

Responsabilités

• Achieve monthly sales targets by acquiring NTB and ETB customers.
• Promote gold loan products to existing liability customers.
• Drive month-on-month growth in EOP assets for gold loan at branches.
• Ensure fee income of at least 1% of total disbursals.
• Follow up with customers for timely renewals and reduce pending cases.
• Coordinate with valuers and align customers to pay valuation charges as per norms.
• Maintain healthy collections with zero FEMI and FPD, minimizing new delinquencies.
• Ensure PSL tagging compliance and PSL norms adherence.
• Support branch liability teams during audits and communicate with customers before packet opening.
• Conduct local marketing activities to generate NTB gold loan leads.
• Demonstrate proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for reporting.
• Exhibit drive to deliver results under tight deadlines and travel across the region on short notice.

About the Role

The Manager – Gold Loan is responsible for driving gold loan business growth through multiple channels. This includes acquiring new customers, engaging existing ones, and managing a team of Direct Selling Agents (DSAs) to expand the gold loan portfolio across branches. The role also involves ensuring compliance, maintaining portfolio quality, and supporting branch teams in audits and customer communication.

Primary Responsibilities

• Achieve monthly sales targets by acquiring New-to-Bank (NTB) and Existing-to-Bank (ETB) customers.
• Promote gold loan products to existing liability customers.
• Drive consistent month-on-month growth in End-of-Period (EOP) assets for the gold loan business at each branch.
• Ensure fee income of at least 1% of total disbursals.
• Conduct regular follow-ups with customers to ensure timely renewals and minimize pending cases.
• Coordinate with valuers periodically and ensure customers are aligned to pay valuation charges as per product norms.
• Maintain healthy collections with zero First EMI Misses (FEMI) and First Payment Defaults (FPD), while minimizing fresh flow into delinquency buckets.
• Ensure accurate Priority Sector Lending (PSL) tagging and compliance with PSL norms.
• Support branch liability teams during audits and ensure clear communication with customers prior to packet opening.
• Conduct local marketing activities to generate NTB gold loan leads.

Secondary Responsibilities

• Demonstrate proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for reporting and presentations.
• Exhibit personal drive and a strong work ethic to deliver results under tight deadlines and demanding conditions.
• Willingness to work extensively in the field and travel across the region on short notice.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as required by the department.

What We Are Looking For

Education

• Graduation: Full time graduate in any discipline from a recognised institution.

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in retail banking, preferably with exposure to lending products such as gold loans within BFSI industry.
