Job summary

Urban Space Builders in Chennai is seeking a dedicated Quantity Surveyor to join our Medavakkam office. The role focuses on cost estimation, budgets, BOQs, tendering, and cost control for residential projects.

You will work with project teams, perform site measurements, prepare payment certificates, and ensure compliance with standards. 1–6 years' experience and proficiency in Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation software are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in civil engineering, quantity surveying, or related field.
• 1–6 years of experience in residential or commercial construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of cost estimation, contracts, and materials.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation software.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Role & Responsibilities

Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and BOQs for residential construction projects.

Conduct quantity take-offs, rate analysis, and cost planning.
