Job summary

Cotton Cottage in Mumbai is seeking a seasoned apparel retail professional to lead a section, guide a small team and ensure top customer service. You will handle billing, inventory checks, stock replenishment, VM compliance and daily reporting.

With 12 years of retail experience, you will upsell and cross-sell, train juniors on product knowledge and SOPs, manage exchanges, returns and escalations, and support store operations with discipline and attention to display standards.

Qualifications

• 12 years apparel retail experience.
• Strong customer service & selling skills.
• Good knowledge of POS, billing systems & cash handling.
• Ability to guide a small team and take responsibility for a section.
• Effective communication & product knowledge.
• Achieve individual sales targets through upselling & cross-selling.
• Provide end-to-end assistance to customers ensuring high service standards.
• Maintain Visual Merchandising (VM) guidelines for assigned sections.
• Train Junior Executives on product knowledge & SOPs.
• Handle exchanges, returns, offers, complaints & service escalations.
• Assist Store Manager with daily operations, stock management & team briefing.
• Ensure section cleanliness, replenishments & display alignment.
• Maintain accuracy of inventory through regular stock checks.
• Assist with DSR inputs, daily reporting and staff allocation.
• Support new stock arrival, back-store management & shrinkage control.
• Assist at billing counter.
