Sarthee Consultancy in Vadodara, Gujarat, is seeking a detail-oriented Sales Engineer (Back Office) to support the Sales team with technical documentation, quotations, order processing and cross-functional coordination.

The role bridges technical knowledge and sales operations to ensure smooth execution from inquiry to order fulfillment, requiring strong communication and coordination within design, quality, accounts, production and procurement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical / Chemical or relevant field).
• 1-3 years of experience in a Sales Support or Back Office Sales Engineer Role.
• Strong understanding of technical products and specifications.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and SAP/CRM systems.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong coordination, organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review Technical and Commercial quotations based on customer requirements.
• Provide Technical support to the Sales team during Pre-Sales and Post-Sales stages.
• Interpret Customer Specifications, GA Drawings and RFQs.
• Coordinate with Internal teams such as Design, Quality, Accounts, Production, Procurement and Stores.
• Maintain accurate Sales Records, Documentation and SAP updates.
• Follow up on Enquiries, Quotations and Pending orders.
• Assist in Order Processing including order confirmation and delivery schedules.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, policies and technical guidelines.
