Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy is seeking a Sales Engineer (Back Office) in Vadodara, Gujarat to support the Sales team with technical documentation, quotations, order processing and cross-functional coordination. This role bridges technical knowledge and Sales operations to ensure smooth inquiry-to-order fulfilment.

The candidate will review technical and commercial requirements, interpret specifications, and coordinate with Design, Quality, Accounts, Production, Procurement and Stores to maintain SAP

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical / Chemical or relevant field).
• 1-3 years of experience in a Sales Support or Back Office Sales Engineer Role.
• Strong understanding of technical products and specifications.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and SAP/CRM systems.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong coordination, organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review Technical and Commercial quotations based on customer requirements.
• Provide Technical support to the Sales team during Pre-Sales and Post-Sales stages.
• Interpret Customer Specifications, GA Drawings and RFQs.
• Coordinate with Internal teams such as Design, Quality, Accounts, Production, Procurement and Stores.
• Maintain accurate Sales Records, Documentation and SAP updates.
• Follow up on Enquiries, Quotations and Pending orders.
• Assist in Order Processing including order confirmation and delivery schedules.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, policies and technical guidelines.
